Every now and then a guy just starts beatboxing while playing the flute, and you can't help but enjoy it.

Conan and Andy go to an anime dubbing studio on the Tonight Show.  :perfect:

Jesus Titty-Fucking Christ, that's embarrassing. Couldn't they have at least picked a cartoon that doesn't begin with a naked woman exploding a man's head?

Not saying fish aren't hard to feed. I'm just saying, I'm as socially inept as the best of them (nerds), and even I wanted to give that guy explaining GitS a wedgie.

A member of the boards being intolerant of even the tiniest bit of incompetence!? NO!

I bet he explained it not completely retarded later, but that wasn't funny so it got cut. For most people, having a camera on them is nerve wracking, sometimes above and beyond solo public speaking.

I'm not particularly practiced, but I've had to speak publicly a few times. As of my last stint at a podium my legs were still quivering behind the wood paneling. I don't think that my voice cracked once though, so it's a dramatic improvement.

The Last Time I Spoke Publicly I had to relate something stupid and inconsequential I did in my every day life to mathematics.

I talked about Gruul the Dragonslayer for 3 minutes and ended with a picture because we were allowed to use the computer and attached projector.

I got laughs.

It's a little bit slow to start, but I found it quite enjoyable.

God, I did not find that very funny, but rational discussion about pending irrationality always makes me laugh anyway.

That sweat pants thing was pretty funny but something bothered me about it. There was a laughtrack/audience. That seems odd for a Michael Ian Black & Showalter show.

That and I just hate laugh tracks. I hope TV abandons them sooner rather than later.

Poochinski

A quick google search reveals that that was actually supposed to be a real show. Even more surprising:

Quote
LOOKWELL (1993), another failed TV pilot, this one produced by Conan O'Brien and Robert Smigel in their early days as comedy writers. Adam West stars as a former TV star who thinks that his experience as a cop show star makes him a detective. Very silly, but West is perfect for the role.

I would never stop watching this.
