Well, I appreciate being shot at halfway across the battlefield while stealthed.  I'm not sure if they fixed the glitch where things can still hit me for about 5 seconds after I vanish though.

If you're running a build without MoD, I highly suggest maxing that out if you're having problems being seen. 3 extra levels of Stealth is amazing, and you used to have to pay 5 talent points for the same effect you get from 3, now. (Of course, now you have to pay 5 instead of 1 for Relentless Strikes, but that's another matter.)

And I don't think they fixed the vanish bug. I'm assuming I would have seen parading and celebrating rogues the world over if that was the case.

Rend has done instant damage from the start of TBC, though not enough to make it worthwhile.

I just tested this, and no, Rend does not do instant damage.  I think you're misreading the tooltip.  The two damage numbers are both added together to get the amount of DoT.

There's something slightly sinful about hiding behind the portal trainer's hut in Valley of Spirits, fishing relentlessly in the quest to catch Old Crafty.

It really pains me how much time I've sunken into WoW and yet I still have no idea what the hell you guys are talking about for the most part.

The game really does change once you hit 70, and it frightens me.

I don't think I have a character at 70 who has more time getting to 70 logged. Even my rogue, who spent a huge chunk of time at 60 when it was the cap.

/played, if you're curious, by the way.

World of Warcraft now has 11 million subscribers. That's about the population of Cuba or Greece, and gives them an annual WoW income of something in the general vicinity of 2 billion dollars - slightly more than the 2007 GDP of the Central African Republic (population 4 million).

Unfortunately, Sealand would cost Blizzard one of those two billion dollars, and they'd probably lose a few million more renovating the place and setting stuff up. So I guess Blizzard won't become a FOQNE just yet.

194 achievements. Friend became some sort of god tank and is marathoning heroics. Somehow all of the Shaman loot dropped and I'm fully epic'd out.

Is this Karma for my 3 months on Veihj in Molten Core D:

I was under the impression that the ever increasing Blizzard subscriber number was partially because they weren't only counting active subscriptions.
