Does every member of the raid need an Onyxia Cloak?

Epic Flying get.

It's pretty swank that Enhancement can solo 3 man quests! I'll just summon my other two men! And by men I mean spectral wolves! Also sometimes a third man made of fire or stone.

Lab packs were easy.  Everyone was clowning up and standing in the Rain of Fire and getting hit by grenades all over the place but just a Priest and I had no problems keeping people up.

Only tricky parts were Supression chamber without a Rogue (Will NEVER do that again), Firemaw (no one has FR gear anymore and he will still fuck tanks up with stacking debuff), the three drakonid pull at Chromaggus but only because people were dumb and tried to AoE tank it.

We burned down Ebonroc without a Mortal Strike single-tanking and just DPSing through his heals.  Chromaggus was a wipe at first because I was the only one dispelling and Time Lapse is pretty crazy at 70 when you don't have enough people for a side group and people are resisting randomly.

Nef phase 1 is a complete joke; Drakonids were hitting me for 400 in ToL form (with a 900 tick Rejuv on).  Phase 2 is as easy as it ever was.  3 was hilarious because Arcane Mages just fall over in that situation.  We killed Nefarian from 16% with no healers up, and just two warriors on DPS while a Paladin tanked.

Pug'd ZA, all four chests done without more than a single death from our worst geared melee DPS. He was a fury warrior wearing fresh greens from Netherstorm.

I gotta  with McFrugal. All this responding to "LFM Heals/DPS" over /2 is hefty fucking work. They didn't even check my gear and I went as a healer, but that's probably because the Holy Priest claimed she could solo heal the place. She linked the warrior's gear as a joke over raid. I think he won a really bad-ass melee cape.

No gear checks?  Maybe I should server transfer; I have trouble getting a healing spot in Kara groups wearing almost entirely Kara/ZA epics.

Dudes, I was healing Kara in greens before it got nerfed, let alone before 3.0.2.

All this responding to "LFM Heals/DPS" over /2 is hefty fucking work.

See now, this is what we call "server differences".  Not that I fucking care, as that wasn't even my point when I said it was harder to get a group as DPS than Tank.  Harder, yes, but not HARD.  If I felt like standing in a capital city for half an hour when I had enough time to even do a dungeon, yeah I could probably get a group for some dungeon where I might possibly win a roll on some gear.

Anyway, you may like grouping, but I do not.  So fuck you for suggesting I'm lazy for not doing it and whining for no reason.  In fact, fuck all of you who say I'm lazy and whining for no reason about PvP too.  I'm only getting into PvP now because I wasn't interested in having a truly big weapon.  Why bother when I'm not doing dungeons?  That changed just recently when I decided it might make the beginning of WotLK easier.  Turns out the easiest and most reliable way for me to get a weapon upgrade without paying 900g for that stupid Lionheart Blade (which I hate) is PvP.  So I was frustrated when I tried to get back into PvP and found that everyone was just steamrolling me, regardless of class.  I'm doing a little better now that I got two pieces of that faction-based pvp gear that no-one referred to by name(it's the Savage armor set).  In fact, I just got [We Had It All Along *Cough*] so you can all suck it.

Oh, and I still can't find any PvE token vendors that sell PvP gear.  Sunmotes don't do it, Badges of Justice don't do it.  Or does armor penetration on something also make it count as PvP gear?  What makes something count as PvP gear nowadays anyway?  It's not like Resilience is useless in PvE.
Edit: Whoops, didn't know there was more than one BoJ vendor.  Apparently there's more in the Isle after it's been cleared out.

P.S. 4k Shadow Bolt crits sure aren't fun, and neither is being knocked back off of the Lumber Mill cliff in Arathi Basin.  Adding knockback to player abilities was a bad idea.  I can't imagine what world pvp is like now, especially in cliff-happy Outland.

I was finding spots in groups on a low pop server at 68 in level 70 instances wearing half greens. You aren't doing it right, McFrugal.

PS: How to do it right? START THE GROUPS YOURSELF, FUCKWIT.

Did I not make myself clear?  I don't want to group.  I could, perhaps, with an initial time investment, get a group, but I really don't want to that much.

Yet you want to pretend that bringing your undergeared ass to an AB was somehow a positive factor to this victory?

I dunno what's worse. That you're such a lazy guy, or that you're so proud of it.

Did I not make myself clear?  I don't want to be involved in anything meaningful in this game.  I could, perhaps, with an initial time investment, get a group, but I really don't want to that much.

Hell no, I'm just lucky I got into such an evenly-matched AB.  Are you jealous or something, or just stupid?

As for you, Bal...

NOTHING is meaningful in WoW.  It's an MMO.  You can't change it.

Not as stupid as a dude holding it over his head and telling us to suck it down. Or pretending that his opponents don't exist because they smacked him down a little too hard.

See what has us so riled up and generally amazed is that as true as this statement is, you still managed to fuck up so much. It is legendary failure and it is awe-inspiring. Maybe you could hold that over your head.

Oh I'm sorry, I thought we were adults that could recognize context. I guess I have to fucking spell it out for you because you are a quibbling child.

You can do nothing in WoW that will advance your little pretend man to any great degree at all at the maximum level without a group. The game is designed for groups, the majority of content is geared toward groups, and every reward gained is better and gained more easily, or at all, in a group.

Your opinion on WoW's mechanics and gear distribution don't matter because you are doing it wrong.

Stop bragging

Oh, I can't brag about being lucky?  Fine.

No loot without grouping!

Okay, what did we just go through 4 pages talking about?  Arena equipment causing excessive gear inflation?  Yeah.  Well, I guess if a BG raid is considered a "group" you might be correct there.  Meaningful is completely the wrong word to describe "getting better equipment" though!

If nothing is meaningful, then stop complaining.

I said it wasn't meaningful, yes.  Being meaningful has nothing to do with being fun.  I also said that the game has an issue with gear inflation; that makes entering PvP less fun.  That is all I'm complaining about here.  Everything else has been me arguing about how "easy" it is to get good gear.  I was mistaken on how easy it is to get the Savage armor set, as I didn't know it existed.

Funny how you assholes decided to jump all over me when I implied Shinra was wrong and then asked him to tell me where this stuff was.  It's almost like you think attacking someone is appropriate when they want help!

Except that in the context of an MMO, gear IS the meaning, or at least the carrot. Besides, I wasn't just talking about gear. Gear is the result of content, most of which cannot be completed without a group. Again, you are choosing not to participate in the lion's share of the game, and then complaining that you can't keep up.

"I was lucky" vs "Suck it down" in the context of an argument about how you hate grouping with people and everybody is an asshole for telling you to do so. You're probably a cave-AFKer in Alterac Valley.

Quote
Okay, what did we just go through 4 pages talking about?

You chiming in that you hate grouping while refusing to do anything trickier than talking to faction loot vendors for loot that I'd honestly be surprised you have the rep to purchase.

You talking about how you don't like PvP while you refuse to do the bare minimum or to have done the bare minimum to even pretend to be capable.

You making an ass of yourself rather than admit you were wrong.

For God's Sake, did you even group up for the Headless Horseman event that just ended? For literally 20 minutes of work you could win pvp quality rings, a helmet and a one-handed sword. Throw on one of those AH shields you love so much and spec Prot and you'd be better at pvp than you are now.

And fuck you for mouthing off to us that we're just being rude because you refuse to believe that it's easy to /whisper to a stranger "I can DPS" and then go to a place, help summon 1-3 other stooges, and hit monsters until they die without talking to anyone the whole time except perhaps to ask "Need/Greed?" or "Anyone else need that? Huge upgrade for me."

We are in fucking awe that you are so profoundly full of assburgers that you apparently can't even approach another imaginary person in an imaginary world that is meaningless and ask them for help. By your tone, you've never instanced since you rolled except for that one time in Wailing Caverns and boy did that suck I'll never do that again HAHAHAHAHAHA

Lemme put it to you this way, Frugal mah boy.

In the time it took you to cry about how much you hate grouping, I faked indifference of other people long enough to get two sets of epic loot I don't need or deserve. I did Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon just to hear their voices, but winning epic gems and epic shoulders for 5 minutes of work each was pretty nice too. And it was pretty fun, but I like most of the Outlands atmosphere and bosses a lot better than Molten Core anyways.

Which reminds me! To listen to you bitch, someone might think you actually HAD indulged in some of the TRULY heinous grinds of the game! Ha ha! Your head would explode if you had anything to do with Ahn'Qiraji, I think.

Alright, I concede that point to you- gear is definitely a central element.

However, there's more solo content than there is group content.  You could say I'm experiencing most of the game, but not playing the bits of it that give the most reward.

:fukit:

I know I made you angry, Doom, but that doesn't mean you can just repeat yourself and expect me to lie down in defeat.
