It's not that expensive anymore, I was mistaken. Apparently only 1k each.  ::(:

Still, I'm pushing him to follow through with this rather than go with the way he wants to do things, where he buys a brand new copy of the game and transfers his character to another account. Yeah, throw 75 bucks at the problem. That's a great idea.

Straight from the PTR, or is this some Cataclysm Alpha?

I wish staghelm always talked like that :(

Private Server Shenanigans. :nyoro~n: Messing around with the "Make NPCs say and do stuff" commands.

I can't find the picture on this computer but I had A'dal doing Lewis Black.

In all honesty, I'd prefer to see all trinkets come from badges from here on out. From my experience, there's usually only one trinket every caster wants and usually only one trinket every melee wants in any given tier, and depending on your guild, you're looking at either losing it eight times to some fuckstain, or never getting it because you're a hybrid/don't do as much dps as a rogue/aren't the highest dps rogue/etc. (see: Dragonspine Trophy, Reign of the Unliving, Fury of the Five Flights and every other trinket that ever caused someone to ragequit)

I know Blizzard likes to put these trinkets in as 'incentive' to keep raiding in an instance, but the only way I can read that is "We put these hard to get trinkets in so you wouldn't notice as easily that we only release a new raid once every four to six months"

To make matters worse, the trinkets are such high DPS upgrades that not having them when entering a new tier of content can gimp your damage. Whoops!

I just read this and wanted to point out that a few months ago, I was on a vanity pug run of BWL and was ONCE AGAIN outrolled on drakefang talisman.

Everyone in our guild who needs a citadel enforcer's claymore, spyglass, blade of culling and Bow has gotten one and we're sharding the shit out of them now.

We've been getting awful healing drops.  I think we're at 2 Arathor's's, and we're relatively low on Traumas.

Two Traumas, one Althor's on a main, one Althor's on an alt. Two wasted DBWs, maybe three, though everyone relevant has one...

... and one 277 Corpse Tongue Coin.

How do you track someone who mysteriously vanishes off the server without so much as a word? Wowprogress and warcraftrealms appear to be completely useless
Last seen as: Draenei Shaman Konvulse (Knight-Captain Title) and Human Paladin Ovi (Kingslayer Title) on Lothar.

Assuming he name-changed and you didn't forget to Armory, you don't? Aside from straight up internet detectives.

Did he take a Shadowmourne and peace out? You could always make a general post on the Lothar forum to watch out for DAT NINJA and that's about it.

I armoried both names and all variations on the two names I could think off, going for the "He kept the names sort of the same b ut changed to fool armory" bit

He just flat out dropped and destroyed a guild's progress into heroic icc. No word, nothing.

What'd he do exactly? I mean on the subject of dudes going PEACE OUT GOT MINE, I really hope they adapt Legendaries into a more open ended Quel'Serar style, but maybe with the smart part of Shadowmourne(fronting Shadow's Edge with personal effort) and not the dumb part of Shadowmourne and Valanar(Fight for shards one dude at a time.)

And for God's Sake let's not go back to RNG legendaries.

So Doom, with the introduction of the Remote Auction House, are you even going to log in anymore?

Why the hell would I pay $3 a month to be chain undercut by glyph bots on an i-phone/smart-phone I don't own?

Also limit of 200 transactions hahaha what.

I think I'm just gonna start straight selling herbs, apparently they get mass bought out(I wonder by whooooooo) and can go as high as 3-5 gold per herb, whereas I'm lucky if this endless army of shitheads doesn't hack glyphs down to less than 1g each. From like, 80g. I hate it so much.

2 Glyphs of Shitfuck up for 80g each.

I post 2 at 79.99.99g.

WITHIN MINUTES CUT DOWN TO 5G EACH WITH JUST A STRING, A LEGACY OF RETARDED LEAPFROG UNDERCUTTERS. Fuck.

Quote
I once walked into Silvermoon, where a group of roleplaying Sindorei were screaming and running around in panic. I stopped one and asked, "What's going on?" The Sindorei roleplayed turning around and pointing to the distances, where an orc was slowly approaching. I then got the fateful whisper, "it's a stand in for Godzilla." In the time it took me a moment to process what the blood elf had just told me, the orc came nearby and emoted that he "breathes nuclear fire over the Silvermoon protectors."

Don't get me wrong. I love me some Godzilla. But I'm pretty sure a giant Tokyo monster stomping down the hallowed halls of Silvermoon is pure World of Warcraft genre. I am not a member of the pure-sword-and-magic camp, but I'm still positive having the named actual Godzilla is outside the norm.

Doom,  you and Wiseman, RP server shenangians. If people will do THIS....

I was minding my own business and buying some food in the Ledermain on a Horde character, and I heard a conversation from upstairs. A female troll was begging a male to craft some kind of voodoo magic to remove some evil prescence from her. He wanted the remains of whatever it was and 200 gold pieces. It soon became obvious that the female was referring to some kind of magic sucking baby that she was pregnant with.
