2. Nope. Plenty of reasons why not.
Despite the sudden idea, you hold yourself back. She's barely more than a kid, and this is not the place or time to be doing shit like that, anyway.
However, something must have crossed over your face, because Jesse is looking at you intently. You notice her looking, and she smiles, and sits up.
"Yuck," she says. "I could use a bath. I must look terrible."
You give her a once over. Dirt, grime, and blood stain her face and shirt, which is torn in several places, revealing her bra strap. Her hair is mussed and greasy, falling unpredictably around her face. The hole where her right eye used to be is pretty gross, to say the least.
"Nah, you're not bad," you say.
Jesse hits you with her pillow. "Liar," she says. "I probably look better than you, though. Even with the hole in my head."
You smile and nod. "Probably," you agree.
"So, what's the deal? What happened?"
You briefly outline what has transpired since she fainted, including the bits of the story you left out when you were talking to Kyle.
Jesse listens and nods slowly. "You were probably right to keep it from him. He's... a bit odd. No telling how he might react."
"Yeah, I get that impression too," you say.
Max barks, once, as if to say he thought that too.
"So he's asleep now?" Jesse asks, getting to her feet.
"Yeah, or at least he said he was going to bed," you reply.
"Well, let's see if I can get a bath," Jesse says. "You could use one too, you know."
You laugh and look down at yourself. "Yeah, you're right."
Max barks again, and dances happily around the room, chasing his tail, eyes bright.
"You too, you dirty mutt!" Jesse points at him.
The three of you head out of the room. Shawna is eating chips in the "dining room". She looks up at Jesse as you enter.
"So you're Jessica," she says.
"Hello, you must be Shawna," Jesse replies, extending a hand.
Shawna shakes it briefly. "Hello."
"So you're Kyle's daughter?"
"That's right," Shawna says.
"This is a nice place he's got here."
"No it isn't."
Jesse shrugs. "Well, at least it's safe."
Shawna grunts and goes back to her chips.
Jesse looks a bit put-off. "Uhh, is there anywhere I could... you know... take a bath?"
"Yeah," Shawna says, jerking her thumb. "That way. You'll have to turn on the generator if you want it hot, though."
"Alright," Jesse says. "Where, uh, could I find this generator?"
Shawna sighs and points. "It's in the back, past the armory. I'm sure a pretty girl like you doesn't mind wasting fuel so she can feel clean."
"Thanks," Jesse says, the polite undertone gone from her voice. You follow her out of the room.
"Pleasant woman," you remark.
"Fucking idiot," Jesse says. "She reminds me of my old boss. Never happy with anyone or anything. Hates themselves most of all."
The two of you pass a large metal door locked with a padlock that reads: "ARMORY" across the front. "I wonder if Kyle stashed our shotgun in there," you say.
Jesse shrugs. "At the moment, I don't care. I haven't had a real bath in weeks."
You enter the generator room. Firewood is stacked along the walls, next to more boxes and large metal fuel drums. You find the generator and Jesse starts it up. The low steady hum of it reminds you of the vet where you stayed with Jacob, David and Nicole.
Heading back into the main complex, you locate the bathroom and Jesse leaves you at the door. "Ladies first," she says, before smiling and shutting the door in your face.
"I'll be out in about an hour!" she calls through the wood.
You shake your head. Looks like you've got an hour to kill.

1. Go talk to Shawna.
2. Explore the bunker complex fully.
3. See if you can get into that armory.
