Brentai:
Anyone in the wasteland has been exposed to at least some FEV, so that means that it would kill everyone born outside of a vault.
Except they never say that except in one optional dialogue choice, and even then it's awfully vague.  And then the announcer tells you that you preserved the human race when you drop the thing, even though its very purpose is to preserve the human race.

Whatever, game has weird morals like every other video game that attempts a value system.  I sort of gave up when it gave me positive karma for killing an unarmed man sitting in a chair.  Yeah, he was sort of passively trying to blow up a town, but blowing his head off all of a sudden wasn't exactly brave.

Playing it again as some sort of female kung-fu bitch.  Not exactly evil, just uncaring.  Evil takes too much effort.  Though I am going for the nice house.

I kicked a yao guai so hard his corpse knocked a bus over, so this is the best character ever.

Re: You dad being based on you.

Asian Male, All Sliders Minimum: Holy fuck it's Jollo.

Asian Male, All Sliders Maximum:

It's a really subtle effect.  You can barely even see it on caucasian characters.  Either they're only sliding the values halfway from a base template, or they're actually showing some understanding of genetics and only moving about 50% of the sliders according to your character (possibly at random).

Bonus: Wasteland Shaggy

One of these days I'll watch that show and figure out what this entire board is talking about.

the fun thing is that paralyzing palm actually works with ALL weapons that count as unarmed, including power fists.

Ah ha ha.  Amata's reaction if you tell her you were dreaming about her when you're a girl is priceless.

I dunno.  Why are the Falls Church metro stations in the middle of downtown Arlington, instead of where Falls Church is?

clearly the nukes set off a massive seismic event which caused the falls church metro to move.

or FEV did it.

Playing an evil character isn't as hard as I thought.  Mouthing off to Simms made him want to shoot me, and it was just a slippery slope from there.

Huh.  Apparently I had done everything necessary to earn the Ultimate Assault Rifle, I just never actually picked it up.

Huh.

(It's like the fucking beginning of the main quest too.  And you thought the Zodiac Spear was a game breaker.)

Speaking of early gamebreakers; it's quite possible to skip over to Rivet City and do the Replicated Man quest, and if you talk to the android
(who turns out to be Harkness, though you still have to go through the motions in order to get the proper dialogue choices)
you can convince him to give you A3-21's Plasma Rifle, which has even higher base damage than the normal plasma rifle and starts out fully repaired. If you make boosting your energy weapons skill a priority and bump it up to 75-80 ASAP (which is harder without the bobblehead, which you can't get until the end of the game because it's in motherfuck fucking Raven Rock) you can just melt everybody, though I'd save it for Deathclaws and Sentry Robots and other similarly nasty fuckers (the issue here being weapon health rather than ammo - MF cells are common enough, but actual plasma rifles aren't, and getting your PR fixed in a shop costs a great fucking shit ton of caps).

Or just drop by the Museum of Natural History and pick up Lincoln's Repeater, which is almost as fantastically powerful and can be repaired with common hunting rifles. Plus it uses the small guns skill which is easier to buff up because the relevant bobblehead is actually available without doing almost all of the main quest, though I forget just where it is.
