Power Armor isn't worth a damn anyway. Do the Rangers quest and get the Ranger Battle Armor - it doesn't weigh a million pounds or ding your agility, and still protects you quite a bit. Also, +5 AP, +1 luck and +10 small guns. And it can be repaired with standard combat armor or any of its variants (talon combat armor in particular).

The T-51b power armor has huge DR and no hits to your stats. The Tesla Power Armor doesn't reduce your stats either. I do with Power Armor still carried itself when you were wearing it, though.

It doesn't increase how much you can carry?

Fuck, that's the point of POWER armor.  Jesus.

I just found a FISTO somewhere.  Even if you're bad at unarmed, this thing combined with bloody mess gives me the desired Kenshiro effect.  I punched a raider in the face and his entire body gibbed.  I found an eyeball later after walking a bit and was able to loot the corpse.

Pretty much all power armor gives a Strength boost, which is thus boosting your carrying capacity.  Most of the ones that don't give a direct carrying capacity boost.

Except that none of them in Fallout 3 give a carry boost, and only a few give the strength boost. In fallout 1 and 2 all Power Armor provided enough extra carry while wearing it to offset it's own weight, in addition to any strength bonus. Additionally, in Fallout 3 no stat can go above 10.

Actually, power armor in the original just gave you a flat +4 to strength. In a normal character (don't recall if taking small frame changes this) it provides an extra 200lbs of carrying capacity, because carry weight and strength scale linearly.
This is pretty cool before you harden your power armor, and you get an extra 50 or 25 lbs of weight to lug around! Unfortunately, when you get yourself around to hardening that bad boy, you just break even.

I..  I found him.  Oasis.  I.  I don't know what to do!  I mean he says to do..  But that means...  AUGH!
I saved and tried each result.  I'm a horrible HORRIBLE monster for trying the fire one first.  I decided to make him bloom more in the end.

Roleplaying and morality aside, doing what he told you to in the first place is best, because then you get a perk that gives you a permanent +10% to damage resistance. Stopping his growth just gets you a missile launcher and a pair of those (worthless) tree clothes. Dunno what making him grow faster gets you. Setting him on fire just nets you a village full of angry wackos.
Reinstalled out of boredom.  This game is much more bearable once you've munchkin'd yourself up to killing everything in one shot.  Almost fun, even, if not for the fact that you hit the wall of being near-godlike and having every piece of equipment you could ever hope to have before ever even seeing what the north part of the map is like (I'm guessing a lot like the south part.)  At least there's no damn quest where you have to go through a dungeon in every city in the world this time.

So, I think I've got one mission to go.
Did anybody else almost think that the modified FEV virus thing was a good idea?  I mean, it pretty much is designed to kill all the Super Mutants, right?  Ain't that a good thing?  Ghouls would get wiped out on the side but since they've all lived far longer than normal human lives in hellish agony and are basically waiting to turn into feral monsters, I really don't care.  There's only the vaguest of indications that it will kill anybody else worth a damn in the Wasteland, so...

Of course I was considering this and then Fawkes showed back up.  I dropped the fucking thing on Lyons first thing after that.

Oh, and I still blew up the United States of President of course, but that was mostly out of spite.
To Fawkes, I left everything but the dead-in-one-shot last boss's gun, my trusty Vault 101 Maintenance Jumpsuit, and The Hat.

And then  :scanners:

Brentai:
Anyone in the wasteland has been exposed to at least some FEV, so that means that it would kill everyone born outside of a vault.
I've been playing through this time, roleplaying as Kenshiro. it's a little rough that i can't steal anything (anything. though bandit loot is ok) but it's somehow much more satisfying to meet hunters peddling strange meat and slaughter them all.

Also, taking bloody mess is even more appropriate than normal, somehow.

higher-level plan: pump stealth and grab paralysing palm, then punch people to stun them, crouch, stuff a bottlecap mine in their pocket, count to ten, OMAE WA MO SHINDERU
