I guess there is no exaggerating the skeletons in Cheney's closet if he almost literally can't lift them!

I'm honestly quite surprised Cheney does his own moving.

Who else is he going to trust with his man-sized safe?

Yeah, do you think he trusts anyone else to see all the shit he's got to incinerate?

Dating A Banker Anonymous

We can only pray that 4Chan chooses this site as its next target for a random digital drive-by.

Quote
WHERE SPOILED WOMEN GO TO WHINE

SARAH BOESVELD

January 29, 2009

Buh-bye bottle service and surprise trips to Bermuda. Hello bemoaning boyfriends who loaf around the house and beg you to cook them dinner.

'Tis the harsh new reality for women dating former bankers - but they needn't wallow alone.

Dating a Banker Anonymous, a blog and relationship support group, is there with a tissue and a gaggle of teary peers.

The group was formed last fall by New Yorkers Laney Crowell and Megan Petrus, two best friends whose "relationships tanked with the economy." Noticing they weren't the only Wall Street widows, the pair launched dabagirls.wordpress.com, a "safe place ... free from the scrutiny of feminists," for women to vent and share stories.

Blog posts range from the ridiculous ("FYI DABA girls - chopping vegetables along side your man in a hot New York sized kitchen is NOTHING like the sexy kitchen scene ... in 9½ Weeks") to the seriously pained.

One said her "FBF," or finance guy boyfriend, had lost his passion for life (for golf, too, but still). Another said her honey was so stressed, their sex life had gone from dynamite to dismal, forcing her to flee to South America and hook up with a Latin stranger.

"We do make light of everything on the blog and it's very tongue-in-cheek," Ms. Crowell, 27, told The New York Times this week. "But it all stems out of really serious and heartfelt situations."

Many posters say they wanted to stay with their boyfriends despite all the cancelled invites to the Hamptons. But for those who've chosen the single life instead, DABA girl "Sidney" offers hope.

"Somewhere out there, some other finance guy is raking it in right now. Have faith that if you continue to starve yourself to perfection, he will find you."

Blagojevich's last day.

Quote
At moments during the day, Mr. Blagojevich reflected on what was ahead, most immediately how best to pay his mortgage come March 1 without his $177,000-a-year salary. He spoke of the guilt he felt toward his family for entering a political life, the “personal Greek tragedy” that he said he saw as his circumstances, and, all the while, his love of his job. His biggest error, he said, was the friends he had picked.

Those sentences being next to each other is the most delicious sour grapes.

:loser:

Maybe he can move to south Phoenix.  There are a hell of a lot of families there getting by on less than $177K.

Hell, he could probably run for governor here.

I think we have enough fans of Matt Taibbi around here to start our own cult, but if you haven't gotten into him well then now is a good time to start.

Ask yourself this question: If your company made that much money, and the boss of the unit made almost $280 million in just a few years, exactly how likely is it that you wouldn't know where that money was coming from?

Hanlon's Razor says "Actually pretty likely."

Zynga shares down 40%.

There are lots of reasons why Facebook's stock is not performing as well as some said it would be its recent 5% dip is being attributed to Zynga

Just reading the article doesn't capture the amazingness of the interview.

Be sure to watch the video at the bottom of the article.
