Also, so long as "Well, if you don't like not being able to marry here, go to a state that allows it" is a thing, it's interstate commerce.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

I would like to hear Arc's story of the past 24 hours.  No doubt he was a very busy man who is very proud of all most of us.

Looking at the local stuff: about what I expected.  Our anti-gay marriage amendment passed; District 1 went D but 3 went R.  Arpaio and Thomas are still around -- I expected the former but was really hoping the latter would get kicked out after that bullshit where he had the publishers of the New Times arrested.

We DID go McCain, which is a huge "duh" for me.  However, I said I'd be surprised if he won by less than 10 points; he did and I am.

As far as national Senate races, near as I can tell Minnesota and Alaska haven't been called yet.

I am saddened that the anti-gay marriage amendment passed. I believe that everyone should have equal rights. The only thing that pisses me off more is when people say Obama shouldn't have won because he's black (Which he is actually only half black, not that it matters. We are more than the color of our skin). I think Obama will do great things for us. ::D:
