Well then. Slightly less awesome than I was led to believe.

It is an electric saw.  I'm surprised it does even that well.

The Cole Train tells you to eat his cereal, you fucking eat his cereal 'till you succumb to a goddamned diabetic coma.

It's the little things in life like this that put a smile on my face.  First "WHO WANTS TOAST!" and now you can give everyone cowboy hats.

Finally playing this.

Found an effective drinking game in co-op: take a drink every time the action stops for the characters to touch their ears and talk.  Drunk by the end of the second mission.

Kotaku brought this up, since Japan is now getting localized Gears 2.  But that's actually a really /good/ job for voices on the old one.  It'd make it worth another playthrough with Japanese audio.

Good thing blood curdling screams are universal language.

I'd be disappointed if it wasn't Bob Sapp.  That would sell a lot of copies over there, to be sure.

Well, I guess I try playing online again.  I gave up after three matches in which some constantly running fuck kept spawn-camp instagibbing me while I couldn't even hit anyone.

Pulled this out of the pile recently because I felt like shooting some dirty grubs. Did some of that, and then remembered how awesome Co-op was in the first game. Which leads me to my point, anyone want to play co-op or Horde? Not interested in the competitive multiplayer at all, because it's terrible, but I'd love to shoot some locust with a bro or several bros.
