I have also heard from numerous people that you can't get the axe or slingshot til Nook-N-Go.  I'm too lazy to get up in the early morning to check turnip prices :(

I dunno why everyone seems to be so money deprived.  I could prolly go put in enough right now into my town fund to get my stupid bridge.  Fishing seems to have improved slightly from WW (thank fuck).

Also, I need to visit someone's town for some stupid fruits.  I am lacking in delicious fruits.  And axes, but alas, that will wait.

Is the limit to your town really 10 animals, because that sounds ridiculously stupid and low.  You could easily cram at least 12.  I only have 9, and they're all squashed into the beach area.  I mean really, there's Kazz's house, then Chow and Tabby and Snake and Sally all smooshed along my eastern beach.  It's just like real life where everybody wants beach-front property :3

Just give me a time and I can stop by and bring apples (hopefully).

I've been making pretty decent money just from mailing seashells to animals and selling the furniture they send me back, and from bells found in rocks, and so on. I haven't been fishing much, but yeah, it's definitely a bit easier from WW. I'm going to buy some furniture at the flea market, but I hope to save enough to buy a bunch of turnips this Sunday and then do the Gamefaqs thing.

CAN'T STORE TURNIPS IN DRAWERS

I've got 103 Bells a pop for another hour or so, assuming Joan takes off at noon still.

Well, Ed was mysteriously missing several of the Modern items that he had last week, and wouldn't sell two of the ones he still had, but I was able to buy a couple of things from him and then spent the rest of my money on 101 bell turnips. I couldn't afford many, but hopefully I can score a big profit to buy more, etc. etc.

Turnips were 98 bells in my town.  I bought 450 because you can't really store them and I don't want them littering my floor while I fish.

How many turnips did you guys buy exactly?

Also, my douchey animals (the ones I want to buy from specifically) will NOT go home.  They just wander around.  And then they wander around more.  GO HOME TABBY AND CHOW, I WANT YOUR STUFF.  Also, I wanted Midge's lovely end table, and she wouldn't sell, and then I wanted Iggly's backyard pool and he wouldn't sell, and THEN I wanted Walker's caladium and he wouldn't sell it either.  They seem to be somewhat picky about buying and selling.  I'm hoping chow will at least go home at some point while I play today, so I can get some freaking exotic furniture.

Also, today seems to be a very piss poor day for fishing for me.

I'd say to follow the Gamefaqs boards over the next few days.  Expect some cover charge to get in to premium prices.

If I get an awesome price, I'd post on there with a 10,000 cover charge for anyone who isn't one of us.

I bought 800 or so.  Hopefully they don't go bad sitting on my house floor.

You guys know you can leave turnips on the ground outside, right? At least, you can in WW. I'm assuming it's the same in CF. As long as you sell them before the next Sunday, and they don't get stolen by other players, they should be fine.

Hey, I only bought so few because I don't want to lose money on my investment, and also, I intend to TT on wednesday, so I hope I sell these suckers by then.

Also, my town very obviously hates me.  Mush stand AGAIN?  3 Mush Beds?  Really?  Really.

I'm sure you could trade (or sell) that Mush stuff on gamefaqs or another AC forum.

My Nook's is closed today for remodeling, and apparently it's the same for most other people online. He'd better be selling an axe tomorrow.

Weird that so many people had to wait a week for the upgrade.  I really am curious what sets the upgrades off.  It's obviously not monetary, but it couldn't be a time limit thing either, because on an AC forum I'm on, many people got it only 2-4 days later.  C'est trĂ©s bizarre.

What the hell is up with Saharah?  She's like "I need OLD wallpaper."  I asked around and no one has any, but I feel perhaps Maelle does if she'd ever fucking leave the roost for 3 seconds.  So then I thought maybe an animal could give me some for a chore, which happened, and that didn't satisfy Saharah either.

WHAT DO I DOOOOO  :sadpanda:

Anybody have decent prices today? Nook was buying for fucking 70 this morning, and I don't know how many more opportunities I'll have this week to play. Oh, and he's closing to renovate tomorrow. GREAT

The guide says this about Saharah: "Trade your old flooring and wallpaper with Saharah for a chance at receiving some of the exclusive types listed in the following table!" So... not a lot of help.

My current turnip selling price is 107.

Well, I asked on the ac board I go to.  They told me I have to get 3 floors/carpets from my animals, but it can't be through chores.  I did have the option to ask them "old flooring" but NO ONE IN MY TOWN CARES ABOUT MY NEEDS.  So none of them had any.  So no luck for me.

In other news, I made a very excellent Kaneda jacket.  That's what all the cool kids will wear.  Or they can wear stupid things.  Whatever.

Does anyone know the trick to planting bell trees? I have the golden shovel and tried it with 30,000 a couple days ago. Watered it and everything, but it disappeared after a couple days...

Don't bother.  Your chances of getting one sucks.  That's my advice.  The more bells you bury, the higher your chances of success, but still....

Yeah.  I saw a statistical chart of it.  If you bury 80k or something like that, then it has about a 90% chance of bearing 90k bells TOTAL.
