Truly it is a depressing sight to watch several balloons a day waft over my head.  What could be in those neatly wrapped packages?  Probably furniture I'd love to have in my desolate little home.  I have a ranch bed, mush dresser, mush chair (I hate them, I wish it was a mush stool), a reel-to-reel, a blue table with some white roses and a maple bonsai atop it, and lastly, a cabana lamp.  Also, I have a pike sitting in my room--I'm not sure if I want to sell him or keep him, so he can just sit there a while.

What do you guys have for villagers?
I have:
-Walker
-Iggly (ew)
-Midge
-Mint
-Tabby (what happened to her face ;-;)
-Chow (still never had the option to say anything to him)
-Snake just finished moving in today
-Prince is in the process of moving in today

On the note of animals, I'm a little disappointed with their speech right now.  They VERY often repeat themselves.  I never had this problem in AC:WW that I can recall, and I don't remember much of GC version, but in City Folk, I'll be talking to one animal and they will repeatedly say the same thing over and over.  Like a broken record.  They won't change topic no matter how many times I wanna talk to them.

Not entirely sure I'm going to pick this game up... I certainly won't be exporting any WW data; my town is basically a giant, grassy field at this point. Maybe I'll pop it in the DS and see if The Hunger returns.

Exporting your data from AC:WW doesn't really affect much on WW.  In fact, nothing at all.  You get your catalog from the DS game, and that's pretty much it, but that's still something, unless you're psycho like Duke, who ISN'T LETTING ME IN HER TOWN SO I CAN SLIP HER THE SHOVEL ::D:

Th-that sounds like a euphemism for something you should not do while Kazz is away.

It's nice to see I've got no reason not to bring my dying burg's data over. Also maybe the hilarious suit of golden armor I'm packing.

Wendell visited my town today.  Trade him a fish, and instead of giving me wallpaper like he used to, he gives me a pattern called the horizontal pattern.  I guess this is to be used if you want to lay down panels of them outside to create footpaths.

EDIT: I also got a finders fee from Redd for referring Rosencrantz to him!  1000 Bells, woo hoo!

Tom Nook sensed that I was going to give you a shovel, so he chewed through the wires that connect us to the WFC.

Evil little raccoon.  He better make up for it by having furniture that I want tomorrow.

Do you want to try visiting my town, or was the connection problem on your end? I got the golden shovel, so I can give you my old one AND you can buy one in my shop in case you need two of them. All I ask is you bring a bunch o' oranges, and you can take as much apples as you want.

I could visit your town tomorrow, or try to anyway.  I don't know what was going on with my connection, but I couldn't let McDohl in or go to his town.  I will bring oranges.  But I no longer need a shovel, because at least the shovel in the mail from McDohl reached me.

Only the Japanese can make you feel that unique brand of shame of theirs in a videogame. One of the first things I came across was a genie-style lamp under a tree. I tried manipulating it in every way I could, but could do nothing with it. After a quick run to Nook's, I was a couple hundred bells richer, but whom else should I run into a few yards away from Nook's door but the Spirit of the Lamp.

Lost your lamp, huh? You'll be eaten by ghosts if you don't find it, huh? HOW DISTRESSING

I finally finished a stupid essay and I have until 6 pm PST before I leave the house for the evening. If anyone wants to visit or be visited so we can swap more fruit or whatever, let me know.

On another note, I got no mush furniture on Monday for some reason, and yesterday and today I got the same thing (Mush Table). Well, I'm not too disappointed - it'd be impossible to get all fifteen items by the end of November anyway.

EDIT: Redd changed his inventory today, so it's not a weekly thing (unless his week begins on Tuesday or Wednesday, since I didn't check it yesterday). ...And he gave me another invite, which seems really pointless because you can get one from a townsperson. (Oh, and the guide doesn't say anything about when Redd's stock changes. Gee, thanks!)

What emotes are available for you in the theater? Do we have to go to other people's cities? (Are we even allowed to do that?) I thought they would change by the month, but I'm in Dec and I still just have laughter, happiness, love, and glee.

I guess it's stupid to complain about that  but I know there are more out there.

Truly I am amazed by the plethora of bad items Nook continues to have in my store.  The Able sisters aren't being too cool either.  I haven't even remotely wanted anything in Nook's since the first day where I bought the equipment I needed and a maple bonsai.  Then he proceeded to have no good wallpaper or carpet for forever.

And the Able sisters, I mostly just don't care for lately.  Because...I have my super sweet blue argyle.  It's all I need clothingwise.  But the Able sisters had a new item today called "Cucumber pack" and I assumed that it was like...for putting cucumbers over your eyes like weirdos use for those funny baths or sunbathing, but no.  It's cucumbers...on your cheeks.  So I got it because it was bizarre and funny.

The only plus thus far to my luck is catching lots and lots of goodish fishies.  I've been raking in 60-70,000 bells a day.  I paid off the first two payments and could tomorrow to get the next expansion which I think is the "second" floor.  But I don't care about it enough.  I'd rather pay for a bridge I guess.  No good furniture, so no cramped space anyway.

Yeah, I guess you don't need the extra rooms yet if you don't have enough stuff to fill them with. The game has only been out for five days, so I'm not expecting to see lots of stuff I like yet. Although I have already found two robo items and a modern table, and one of my townspeople has almost the whole modern set, so I am going to buy as much of his stuff as I can during the flea market this weekend.

Bastard.  Haha.  The modern table, bed, and lamp I love, and the rest is sorta meh.  I hate the modern chair more than anything.  But it does remind me of beetlejuice so it gets points for that I suppose.

I am also looking forward to the flea market, because at least the dumb animals in my town have stuff I want.  Nook has failed me, but many neighbors have really nice furniture.  Chow, who sucks really, has a bunch of exotic furniture which I love, and Mint has a handful of blue furniture I like.

I still just wish they left the attic out of the game.  It's my one really big issue with the game.  I didn't want it.  It's completely unnecessary since you can save anywhere at any time, so there is absolutely no use in having it, and you can't decorate it at all, so it isn't like you get extra space to decorate.  I don't count changing the bed as making it less lame.  Because it's dumb.

What IS the next room you get after the first two upgrades?  Is it the the second floor or the basement?

I agree, the attic is ugly, especially since it's supposedly your bedroom. (And it's weird that complete furniture sets for the other rooms have beds in them. It feels weird having a house with nothing but bedrooms.)

The third expansion is the second floor.
