Okay, so I am having a super-difficult time with Play-Asia right now.
See, I want to buy a $150 item with a $200 prepaid Mastercard. After confirming the order, I realized I would rather have it delivered to my workplace, since somebody's guaranteed to be there. In order to change the shipping address, I had to re-enter my card info.
Now, I'm just guessing this, but as far as I can tell the prepaid card allocates funds to whatever I'm buying even if it isn't charged yet. So I have not been charged the $150 (it doesn't show up on my card history), but that's $150 that I can't use. So, when I changed my card info, it kept this old allocation and made a new one. Play-Asia reads it as me only having the remaining $50, even though I actually have all $200. So now the order won't go through at all because it doesn't think I have enough money. So my card is waiting to use the allocated funds that the site doesn't want to accept.
So I tried cancelling the order. Let's see how long it takes for my card to register that it doesn't have to hold on to that money for me.
If it comes down to it, I'm getting another card and ordering the same thing through Thinkgeek even though it's pricier. This is a pain in the ass to work with.
