Exactly.  And even the Genesis emulation is spotty on the PSP, though it's leagues better than the SNES emulation.

This SNESoid thing runs pretty okay on my phone.  Not perfect, but certainly well enough.  Even has a functioning fast-forward.

Got it today. It runs great.

My only problem thus far is that I have no idea how to find the directory I saved my ROMs in using gpsp. It seems to run fine, I'm just not sure where my games are. The menu system is really obtuse.

EDIT: Found it! Since this is apparently not mentioned anywhere else on the internet, I'll just say that anything saved to the SD card is under mnt/sd.

Johnston has a list of 10 comic book bargains.

The Locas II hardcover for $24 with a signed bookplate is pretty effing nice; I paid $40 for it.  And I'm tempted by the Serenity: The Shepherd's Tale hardcover; I've been waiting for the paperback but I doubt it'll be much less than $7.50.

What a time to lose my job.

Brick-and-mortar, not Internet, but I just got back from the local Barnes and Noble and they had Mad's Greatest Artists: The Completely Mad Don Martin -- the 1200-page 2-volume oversized hardcover set originally priced at $150 -- marked down to $25.  And my girlfriend's got a membership card, so I got it for about $13.  It is probably the greatest deal I have ever gotten on anything, ever.  So check the Deals section at your local Barnes and Noble!

I'd offer to pick up a copy for you but I think by the time you factored in exchange rate and the cost of international shipping for a 25-pound object you'd be better off just hitting eBay.

The weight making shipping expensive is probably right, but right now the Canadian dollar is floating between $0.98 and $1.05 USD.

Don't worry though, If I do decide to grab one I can probably order online.

That is what happens when science says that it could, without first asking if it should.

Amazon's bee running some pretty monstrous deals on X-boxes lately.  It's getting hard to resist.  I'm not sure if it's Microsoft or the retailer but somebody's looking to capitalize on the inevitable mass defection.

Sokay.
I lost/broke my tablet pen a long time ago and have really been wanting to get back into digital drawing. I figured I'd buy a replacement. Now with tax and shipping a replacement pen is $50. I figured if I'm going to spend money like that, I might as well buy a new tablet.
Old one was an old, old version of the bamboo fun. Sensitivity was poor and pen was sketchy so I'm not really interested in repurchasing the same (but slightly updated) tablet. I think the most I'm willing to go is $150 because I can rationalize it as "for school" even though it's summer.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Looks like they've updated it since I last bought it. What do, internet crew?

We actually have an ancient Wacom ArtPad II here (still sealed!). I'd offer it for some nominal dimes, but shipping charges from Canada would probably run you more than it's worth (i.e. you could easily get something that's not 12 years old for the same money).

One of my employees just bought an off-brand tablet which was pretty favorably reviewed. I'll try and remember to ask her tomorrow.

NOTE: Doesn't work on Droid, and probably doesn't work on Epic 4G because NOTHING WORKS ON EPIC 4G.
