I like how they use the example of the Buddha swatting the mosquito and then dismiss it because Obama isn't the Buddha and apparently only the Buddha has the moral authority to swat flies.

The fly saga began Tuesday, and it was the subject of a news report on Italian TV and almost a dozen Youtube postings that have been viewed more than 750,000 times. Thousands of people also have added commentary, including one who wrote, "But can he duck a shoe?"

What exactly is the Buddha story they're referencing?

Is it one where everyone forgets that the soul in the fly is being punished for his bad karma by being in the body of a fly in the first place?

Chalk it up to "Stories that would have been perfectly understandable as an Onion headline"

Well, that's unusually sensible and clever. I mean, compared to what we're used to from this organization, anyway.

Speaking of nude pics and PETA: More of such things, anyone?

(I use the term 'better' very loosely)

Dita Von Teese is super hot, I just want to say.

I'd vegan her kale, if you know what I mean.

Lee Adama hates killing animals?  Combined with... Bob Dylan, and a robot Armageddon... It all makes sense now. :fukit: :gameover:

Being a vegetarian does not automatically make you healthy. Oreos are vegetarian.

Once again PETA hits the bulls-eye with all the grace of a charging elephant.

Like I could understand perhaps a campaign to get across that you can use vegetables to emulate the taste and satisfaction and filling qualities of meat and turn your diet into a healthier thing.

But no.

Let's bust out some land whales disses.

You know how anti-cigarette ads are run by Philip Morris and designed to be ineffective and preachy and irritating so that nobody can take them seriously?

Do you think there are evil beef tycoons behind PETA who fully realize how obnoxious and off-putting their ads are?

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.
