I don't remember liking or disliking Toy Story 2, but didn't they make a big deal out of how rare Woody was in that one?  Why is he in a daycare now?  I find this very offensive.

he was super rare but they also made it pretty clear neither the kid nor his mom had any idea what his value was

Yeah, there's a crack in the trailer about "Let's see what we're going for on eBay" but presumably they never actually get posted.  Obviously if they did, then yes, Andy would not remain oblivious to Woody's value for long.

Also it's just kind of ensaddening that they can make a third Toy Story but can't give us an Incredibles sequel.

Mark Waid's doing a comic series.

EDIT:
You guys realize that you are making me have to watch this movie now, right? You know that's what you're doing. You know you're making me skip watching Ninja Assassin while completely plotzed for this, right?

HOLY FUCK LOVEJOY IS PLAYING BLACKBEARD?!?!

:jizz:

EDIT: I just realized that probably nobody besides the Canadians and Englishmen here even know about Lovejoy. Coles notes for the Americans: Really, when you boil it down, it was like a really really English version of The Rockford Files.

No more princesses?

Wouldn't be -that- hard, just include a male lead that is not either a complete cypher or goddamn Gaston.

(the male lead in Princess And The Frog is totally Gaston, in case you were wondering whether to see it.)

So, yeah, Princess and the Frog was a lot of fun!

I was expecting a great party, and instead got a good time with old friends. The songs were somewhat lacking, but that's my adult perspective. As for the wee ones...

For several years now Disney has been working on Rapunzel.  The visual inspiration comes from The Swing, with every intention to make the CG animated film look as painterly as possible while simultaneously retaining a feel like more classic 2D animated Disney films.

Rapunzel Unbraided (Disney - 2010)

and now here's the new trailer.
