The arms are wonky

They're wonky because they're holding on to something that hasn't had depth rules applied. That pane is parallel to the plane of the paper, instead of parallel to the plane of her hips/shoulders.

Make sure you fix the pane as well, or it's going to look wonky no matter what.

There, I did this while watching stuff today, and it sorta matches the style of those other two pictures, so i'm content with it.

I shoulda darkened it up a lot, though.

I drew a tree.

Tree-like object.

Something kind of resembling a tree.

Okay, so this is a really, really shitty drawing, but I made it to make a point.

I made this with SAI, the program you use for coloring, Stush. To wit: I think you're under-utilizing it. There's a huge emphasis amongst the different tools on blending colors together and emulating real, physical media. Especially the paint brush -- if you're not using it to blend together two or three different colors, then there really isn't any reason to use it. And if you don't like the texture it creates, you can always smooth it down with the Water Color brush tool.

I've never tried blending colours. I should give it a shot sometime, I guess.

A little sketch I did last night with the new character looking a little out of place. She's not really tiny or anything, it's just that the other girls are a little big.

I need to make the background transparent for this, it's for something that i'm working on. I'm amazingly happy with how it came out, though!
