Also, I made a tumblr where i'm gonna post some of the stuff about my setting and story, It's a bit rambly, but that's because i'm just pouring stuff out of my brain and into the text box, I'm just using it to get stuff out there, and hopefully get some people interested in it, plus, writing stuff down helps me to flesh it out a bit better.

Figured since I had drawn the other two, I may as well draw Jacinta, too, plus, I wanna write about her on the Tumblr page next, so it's nice to have a matching drawing for it. I am actually really happy with how this picture came out, Which has been happening a lot lately, it's nice.

The eyes came out a bit big, didn't realise until I had finished the entire thing. Still, I think i'm improving with how natural it is to draw from a reference, at least. It feels a lot more natural. I've managed to draw every day since I started doing this, too, nearly two weeks now.

I'm gonna try keep it up, and keep up with writing stuff for my tumblr, my writing is a lot worse than my drawing, though, very rambly.

The hair seems a little off, but otherwise that's an amazing Janeway.

It's not janeway! It's Jadzia Dax.

I've been a bit slack about drawing lately, but I managed to do a little sketch tonight, at least.

A friend linked me to a tutorial on how to draw heads well from different angles, straight away I think it's helped me a lot with drawing heads.

I sorta did the eyes a bit wonky though.

One last picture to finish for the night, I really feel a lot better about drawing after this! I feel like i've figured out the secret of heads and faces that I didn't know before, It feels really good.

Now I just need to figure out what I don't know about bodies. :(

I decided to actually do two more sketches based on the tutorial I was looking at, one upwards tilted head and one downwards tilted one, Man, I haven't felt this good about my own drawing ability in years! I'm gonna go looking for more tutorials on youtube and stuff to see if I can get over my problems with drawing bodies, too.

Just some practice on different parts of the face, I'm surprised at how little I knew about eyes and mouths, I just never really tried to figure out how to draw them right, I guess. Lack of motivation has always been sort of a problem for me, Hopefully I can fix that now!

I did some ears, too! They seem really weird at first but once you know the basics, it's pretty easy.

I feel much much more motivated and happier with my art than I have for a long long time. I am sort of sticking with faces for now, because I feel like as soon as I go back to trying to draw bodies, I'll start to feel frustrated again. If I can at least get really good at faces, I'll be able to move on with pride, I think!

I figure I might as well round it all out, so I did a page of noses to finish for tonight.

I figured i'd take a break from practicing and try use my new skills to do something fun, I had this idea from a video I saw a bit ago. I feel like the main things I need to practice right now are open mouths, non-neutral expression eyes, eyebrows, hair and the overall shape of faces.

I still feel a lot better about consistency, at least!

One last sketch before bed tonight~ I am honestly worried about moving onto bodies, I don't know what to do to improve at them, I figure the best idea would be to focus on one part of a body at a time and figure out what I'm doing wrong, Like I have a lot of problems with shoulders and hips, so they might be worth focusing on, and as I figure out parts, and I can work on putting them all together.

Dang that is some nutty improvement right there Stush. Man it's good to see tutorials are working for someone out there!

I have the vague sentiment that exclusive focus on individual elements may not be as good as trying to work out the arrangement of these elements in terms of improving overall quality, or at least that's what my limited experience has left me reflecting on; body parts don't exist in a vaccuum, and the configuration of a shoulder will change depending on what the hips are doing, and so on. But I'll admit at this point I'm probably the last guy you want to take advice on that subject from. :8D:
