Yeah, scramble really needs to operated on a 50% requirement rather than on a majority.

Too bad half of the losing team doesn't use it either.

Just a bunch of manly men who know how to enjoy a struggle.

Team           Team
43                 97
32                 77
31                 65
30                 62
27                 45
25                 44
17                 44
14                 42
10                 41
5                   40

This sorta steamroll builds CHARACTER.

And only Doom is a win-whore, so all the people who refused to scramble on Blu are beyond question.

Where is the context for this? If this is from Hoodoo, most of the votes were from blue team. I think someone on red started it though.

I just picked random colors. I think it was goldrush. I mean, it was the exact situation Scramble was added to the server for but I guess everybody put on some shades and said B) "Yeah, winning DOES feel good."

It was Goldrush and the colors were the other way around. We had just lost a red defense round on the same map and then on attack things weren't going great.

I was the 43 at the top there and I pointed out over voice chat that two spies and two snipers when we had no soldiers or medics was probably a bad idea. Then Doom corrected me over voice chat saying that class make up doesn't matter when the teams are so unbalanced. Then I switched from Imbaman to Doctor for our one Overweight. *shrug*

I was having fun though. In a devilishly shrewd and classically underhanded fashion, I had managed to keep the BLUs from reaching the first point when they were inches from it for about 5 minutes in the previous round with nothing but sticky mines, some dutch courage, and Doom's sentry farm for support and ammo. Thas the way you doo ehhht!

Hey, I was on the winning team and voted to scramble, we still had very little votes for scramble because the losing team wasn't voting either. After careful consideration maybe people didn't know how to operate scramble?

To be fair, when you say !votescramble it doesn't put it in text, it simply states that you voted for a scramble.  This is unlike rtv which is visible to everyone, so people can jump in on it.

Or if you use !Scramble it works just like RTV, but in green text.

Yeah, it's !scramble not !votescramble, so I guess my theory is correct to some extent.

I use "scramble" and I can see other dudes using scramble and how many have scrambled and how many are yet to scramble.

Some servers it's !scramble, some it's !votescramble, and still others it's !imababy

Yes, that's what I said.  It shows that you used the "scramble" command, but not how.  When you type "rtv" it still displays "rtv" so those who don't know about it can still look at their screen and know you need to type "rtv" to rock the vote.

Uh, I know it's a different command based on mod, but...

If you can't figure out !scramble for scrambling, even if you were used to other options, how are you even managing to W+M1 around?

I will agree with Doom that if there are literally retards facerolling to play the game class imbalance will take a huge backseat to player skill.

More seriously about class imbalance v. player skill.  It happens fairly often that we'll get a "stacked" team that gets utterly rolled solely because of class matchups and being too slow to trade out.  It's kind of a big deal.

The first rule of playing Spy or Sniper is to know when to play Spy or Sniper.

Class imbalance usually implies a lack of player skill on at least a few of them.

otoh I can name a dozen instances when I didn't pick Spy because there were 2 Spies on the team already but I really should have because those 2 Spies were pants-on-head retarded and an even moderately capable one could have completely crushed the enemy's defenses.  But even then those first 2 Spies were still horrible so POINT STANDS.

Nobody ever accuses a Spy or Sniper of requiring no skill.

Contrarily, nobody ever accuses a Pyro of being goddamn useless.

When I have four pyros on my team of eight people, and I am a soldier, and I keep getting backstabbed by one spy, and the pyros are all dominated by that spy, yes, I call them worthless god awful faggots.

...I seriously would like to know what the hell servers you guys are landing on.  For the most part I always get the most points when I'm killing you guys on Shadow Moses.
