Tonight on Gravelpit I channeled the combined skill of all the Medics in the universe. It was glorious.

I was amused about Doom humorously admonishing Patito and me for making the soldier look fun!

:3 Hey, for me it's legitimately the most fun!

I did well as a medic a few times. As usual, it took me a while to get into the swing of things, but once I did it wasn't so bad.

How to defend KoTH_GarbageDay's point from Heavies:

Combo-poof them all the way back down to the bottom of the mountain.

I prefer the arrow to the head or circle strafe FAN methods, myself.

I will admit that I was rolling during that story. It's both tragic and hilarious. :(

We didn't even get into the part where they were leaving in their van and station wagon or whatever and a drunken Daryl was pleading with them to take him with them as a roadie or something.

Then he hit on those extremely Japanese Japanese chicks that were standing outside after the show and they laughed at his slurred advances in an extremely Japanese girl-y way.

Why were those girls there if they weren't with Guitar Wolf? I mean maybe they were and they just had an other car or something, but they didn't leave with Guitar Wolf and there's no way they were Canadian, they were all the way Tokyo bimbos.

Or about how he did a headfirst stagedive during the show and nobody caught him because HEY HUMAN MISSILE JACKASS and he landed on his head, so between that and all the beer he drank he remembers almost nothing about that night.

Well, what happened there is actually that he'd been stage diving a lot already, and people were catching him. But then he just kept doing it over and over and it went from him just jumping and spreading his arms out to him actually flailing his limbs around for some retarded reason. Well people started to get tired of having to avoid getting kicked or swatted in the head while trying to catch him, so people just started moving out of the way and shielding themselves rather than catch him and eventually he just jumped and smacked his head into the ground.

I can't honestly say what in his alcohol addled brain made him think swinging his arms and feet around while jumping at a crowd of people was going to accomplish other than injuring someone, but he probably should have come up with a plan for landing. I was kind of considering just grabbing him and trying to punch him out though like they would in a movie with one big hook, but then he took care of that himself.

Those rounds on gorge were the best in my career. Once I hit demo I just diddnt stop. Also random charge into a cloak spy with decapitate was lulz.

Um. If KYONKO or any form of KYONKO shows up, admins, instapermaban.
Spammers and they all share the same name. If that's not bad, I don't know what is.

One called me a "badmin" and argued with me that "RACISM IS NOT ON THE SERVER RULES". I reeled back, defeated, diminished somehow.

Then I kicked him anyway.

Huh.  So to play scout you think of the scattergun as a melee weapon.  Neat.

Well, before everyone showed up and it was mostly just me and the pubbies, I was dinking around as C&D spy. I did pretty good.
Good enough many pubbies were crying out "DAMN YOU LOTTEL!" several times a round. Feels good.
Of course, once we got more than 8 people, I became completely ineffectual as spy so I will have to work on that.
Pubbies were really good during afternoon/early evening forts. Except for a handful. Decent players at least.
And I backstabbed this one guy 4 times in a row. 3 times with the Outback on. Of course, he was terrible but still.

I need to start paying attention to when I'm on edge, and then stop trying to play Engineer during those times. Perpetual, Sisyphean setbacks do not make me a pleasant person when I don't come into it prepared to be patient.

Yeah, the pistol is your ranged weapon.

The pellets from the scatter gun for starters, spray out all over the place, so it's hard to get a lot of them on target without being pretty much at melee distance or just outside of it, though sometimes to can get lucky farther out than that and get a nice cluster of them on target.

The other thing is, you have to think of them like these little fireballs that come out of the barrels red hot, but then cool off REALLY quickly and just sort of bump into people uselessly at that point. You wanna hit people with them when they are still hot. Soldier and Scout are two classes that really have to realize where their damage fall off makes shooting pointless or next to it and put themselves in the right range for victory.
