You're right. Perhaps we should cut it short.

Today I felt like a flexing bear of manliness. A terror by all to behold.

Also was shocked to see Yeoz and Ryg do so good. So it's possible the players were just awesome.

It helps to get new people that don't know all our dirty tricks. Over the past few nights I've seen a good number of recurring pubbies, which is good, because I've also seen a lot of non-recurring regulars.

It's a bit of a bother that I have to beacon myself every time I die, thankfully I didn't have to do it much.

Nucleus, I'm playing Soldier.  I start getting chased down by a pyro, nearly dead.  I start firing a few rockets wildly at the pyro to scare him off, and then he goes flying to the right, and I see Smiler darting around the corner.  I smile and launch off another rocket, and I see the name of my savior.

Smiler. :wuv:

I am the king of deathmatch on badlands. But not at winning on badlands. I need everyone else to do that for me while I kill everyone on the enemy team.

Tonight I learned that pubbies are a hivemind, just not a particularly smart one.

After everyone else left I witnessed:

1) a group of them follow me in the wrong direction.

2) Charging straight into enemy assault over and over just because the person in front of them did.

3) All defending a point two behind what we had capped because someone else was AFK there.

4) After rushing in to a very good enemy defense along with my team three times, seeing that the side path (on yukon) was completely undefended and single-handedly capping the last point.

Cow, that was insane. I was shocked by the score at the end. Doesn't help that the pubbies were incapable of breaking that sentry. According to Crouton, it didn't even kill many guys. They literally just did not want to bother with it. Man, thats why I play Soldier all the time. I hate not being able to deal with problems my self.

The sentry only killed 2 people, but launched anyone who went near the point off of it. At one point a hunstman tried to take it out, and a scout was trying to peak out from the wall behind me to shotgun it, but that was about it.

Then Kayin was all :rage:

And I was all :sogood: and then :fukit:

I'm sure I could've taken out the sentry if I wanted to, but I didn't even know it existed, let alone where it was until Kayin started raging.

That scout was me too.

What mad me get really annoyed was that it was in such an easy spot to destroy too, but no one felt like bothering.  It didn't seem like anyone wanted to bother doing anything -- well, besides Cow wanting to bother to take the lives of his enemies in bulk orders. Anyways as for where the sentry was, it was on the battlements looking up at the spire. All I did when I broke it was fire it from all the way across the map. It was such an easy sentry and I was having fun with scout. ;_;

I mean, I don't care if someone isn't doing something. It's no one's responsibility to carry a team or push has hard as they can or whatever. But when the ENTIRE TEAM seems to lack even a basic interest in getting anything done, I get frustrated. Not at anyone in particular, just in general.
