If it's a level-3 sentry, won't the rockets still hit you, since it fired them when you were still visible, but the bullets were what made you cloak? So you'd have to be careful to dodge those.

I think the Ringer may be too slow for that.  Unless you're saying you actually did it, in which case hah.

I had to quit after that last round on Goldrush because there was just no way I was going to top that bit of last-second turnaround Pyromania.

...bitch all you want about the item drops, and they are fucked up, but TF2 remains a damned fun game.  I'll still eat a lemon meringue even though I despise lemons (though I usually just scoop off the meringue part, so take that analogy as you will.)

it can work with level one sentries, but really those things dont need sapping to get rid of.

Observation:

Lady Duke becomes more effective the more you berate her.

I say begin with her weight, and then work your way up to her pokoman trainer skills.

I was so livid that you told me I should team-switch.  But I'd say you're right because I did a lot better.  But then again, we also switched to maps where I knew where the hell I was.  I work well on rage (unlike doom).  Still.... :sadpanda:

Huntsman is pretty boss, even if you only get to actually hit your opponent like once every 10 shots.

My reasons for ragequitting tonight:
  • I play Engineer terribly.
  • I can't take two steps out of the spawn without some rocket exploding me.
  • <Doom> DOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOHOOOOHOOHOOOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO

I start to get frustrated really easily, and that just sends my gameplay even more in to the shitter.

This causes me to get more and more angry, until I just have to walk away from the game, lest I break something.[/list]

Your reason for ragequitting tonight:

The stronger you punch, the better the door. So there are like super strong murderers who punch people into Venetian doors and shit"

For the most part, had an excellent night playing.  I was #1 on my team two rounds in a row.  And then on the last map, I totally crapped out and was distracted and did poorly, but it was fun anyway.

It supposedly crits for 100 on a headshot now. That gives it a theoretical skill ceiling of winning duels with soldiers and demos.

Well, you know, slightly faster than just hitting them 6 times with that standard revolver. Nevermind.

I'm not sure if this is the sort of thing I should advertise, but I won't be playing due to a general shift in life.

Otherwise, hope that when I come to the internets on a machine that's not an eee that you're still playing - being a fun crowd and all (lady duke, doomykins, constantine especially)

I had my best round ever as a spy.  And quit immediately after as I'm sure I would only disappoint myself after that awesomeness.

It was also the first time I actually made use of the "last disguise button."  Not a single shot fired, not a single building sapped, but 7 fucking backstabs. Backstabs that I did not think I could get more than one of without immediate death.

For the 4th, I started undisguised directly in front of a soldier.  I somehow dodged all of his rockets and got him before he could switch to melee/shotty.  Then I got behind a nice single-file line of demo, medic, and heavy. :perfect:
