Oh man, putting on the RETARD-O-FUN maps for just a single round each (well, one attack and one defense per) was GOOD TIMES.

MVP of the round I played was Blinky, with like 30-someodd kills.

Tonight was awesome and I feel bad for leaving, but I was getting hassled by people from the real world and there was shows to watch. Tomorrow night probably won't be much better.

The retarded maps were a great way to start the night since we didn't have enough people for serious business time, and also I'd never played those maps before so it was interesting for me.

Regardless, if you're looking to top the score board consistently and net tremendous amounts of kill for little effort, you're playing the wrong class.

... What would make you think that?

Most of my Engineering wizardy involves ridiculous subconscious understanding of design and human behavior patterns.

Or in other words, years of dedication to games like Starcraft and DOTA have taught me to strive to stay two steps ahead of all potential enemies. At least as far as herding them via shotgun into a sentry.

Also why I always just tell you to practice.

SUN TZU SAID THAT! and I think he knows a little more about fighting than you do, pal, because HE INVENTED IT!

Two points I want to make tonight:
One: I did pretty good as engie tonight. 24 teleports that weren't me. I think I really helped on that round. And I did pretty good on other rounds as engie. I think it's the hat. (And the fact not everyone had the maps memorized.)

Two: Next time I play with Nic_wic I am definitely telling him to shut up for a bit. Wow. He talked that whole last match. He didn't even let go of Alt to breath.  Just a constant stream of consciousness and lousy singing and "Nope. Not a spy. Noooo sir." I just want the guy to realize how annoying he is but if he gets pissed and leaves...

NOTE: I'd mute him (and have for a little while) but then he wouldn't understand what he was doing wrong. That's not what ShadowBroses stands for.

Honestly? I just mute him as soon as he joins the game.

If you guys want a mute, then just tell Kayin or me or whoever else.

Unlike the regulars here, he's not exactly a beloved member of our brommunity, so he can piss and moan about admin abuse all he wants and it just doesn't matter!  :imagination:

... or is there some reason we're not supposed to piss him off?

Shouldn't he be off playing some game where people appreciate constant commentary, like Halo or Modern Warfare or some other game that is 90% smack talk?

He's actually been playing fairly often, so I think he can get a few benefits. Besides, I really haven't seen him being annoying when I'm around.

I just don't want to chase people off if I can help it.
The more guys who play TF2 the better. Even if they are annoying as fuck.
I'll just kindly remind him that not everyone loves his voice and if he doesn't shut up, perma mute.

I'm going to encourage you guys to say something. He's a chatty bitch for sure but he doesn't bother me that much. If you guys are girls and it does bother you enough I suppose I could handle it.

I'll be on tomorrow. If he's getting on my nerves I'll handle it.

Just want to say here what I said in IRC:

I'm not saying "Oooh nooo. There's an annoying guy who's bothering me. Someone stop him." It's more of "I'm going to tell the guy to shut up once in a while. If it so happens he gets mad and quits forever, does anyone care?"

Yeah, I mean to be honest I didn't really notice myself, otherwise I would have just said something. That's always gonna be the first thing I try and I assumed you guys had already said something to him on other nights (have you?).

But then, I'm not the best at noticing when someone's talking too much. :>_>:

I played for, like, half an hour tonight.
I saw 5 or 6 drops.
I can dig this.
