I've been having a lot of fun being a medic, to the point that it's difficult for me not to be medic even on really small teams.

Sorry about always having to leave for TV shows.

It was something magical that only happens once every blue moon...

High point of the night (when friendly fire was turned on)

14-yr old kid:  Why did you kill me?
Kayin:  So you'd get auto-balanced to the other side
Kid: Oh

beautiful..

Other things I learned:

With friendly fire on, the "head count" of the eyelander counts for friend and foe.
That being said, you cant burn your friends
nor can you headshot em...

the KGB works pretty fine, as lottel can tell you all.

Do I really sound that much like Kayin?

I could adjust to friendly fire, but low gravity is teeeeeeeerrrible.

Low gravity is great! You just have to be a direct hit soldier.

Heavy is basically a "Fuck you team. Yo u are all targets to Heavy the Colorblind." His gun mows down everyone, his gloves kill everyone, and I'm sure his sandvich does something vile too.
But I figured that with the heavy's better mobility with low gravity made the KBG deadly. All I had to do was sacrifice a teammate to the god of fists and then jump into a mob.
Of course, I'd sacrifice a teammate and then a fellow heavy would make me a kite with their natascha sooooooo

It's cute when a red and blue sentry look at a point but not each other, briefly ensuring nobody can go near that point.

Last night, Saturn was playing on a ridiculous mod server.

It was Randomized Arena.  That doesn't sound too bad, but it's not just your class that's random.  It's also your weapons.  And your weapons aren't limited to those that fit your randomly selected class.

There were scouts with KGBs, and Direct hits.  There were Spies with flamethrowers.  Snipers who threw flares like Jarate from his hand/broken gun thing.  There were tons of glitches and not just animation-based ones.

It was insane.  Engies could still build, but couldn't fix or upgrade buildings as their wrenches were replaced with some other melee.  Spies with the minigun/natascha could spin up while disguised/cloaked.

It looked fun.

It took me a little longer than usual to get into the swing of things, and then I kept having to leave to deal with real life and eat pie. Hopefully it's just an off day, and the future will be better.

I wasn't feeling TF2 last night, and the server imploding due to zambies didn't help matters.

Can somebody maybe compile links to all the maps so I can not spend an hour downloading cashworks only for it to fail because the server has already changed maps several times?
