S'what I get for hotlinking.  :hurr:

Anyway, the  is because this is just the beginning of a wave of useless Watchmen crap, which...well, I would say it's completely missing the point, but I have the feeling whoever made this is more concerned with making a profit than preserving the intent of the original work.

Also:

Not an actual book, mind you. Nope, it's a journal made to LOOK like Behind the Mask.

Close, David Hayter did write the screenplay, though.  He also wrote X-Men 2 and The Scorpion King.

One (1) Kelly Hu, always included! Act now!

No, they will.  They just want the publishing monies for themselves.  Warner does all the work, and Fox walks with a fat chunk of cash for no effort.

edit:  why do you think they waited until the last possible moment to litigate?  It sure as hell wasn't to bury Watchmen in some unspecified landfill.

Precisely. They wants to make the process as agonizing as possible for Warner.

I'm suprised that no one has called out Fox for what is one of the most blatant cases of "acting in bad faith" ever though. Nope we're all going to play along as if Fox's claim is fully legit.

Yes, they are, but their intentions are just about the opposite of our best interests.

Wait a minute that means

Warner Bros. & Fox settle; release date unchanged.
