See if it fits any conspicuous holes in your person. It may be something to wind your clockworks.

Today marks the 5th bird that smacked into my window this week. It's Wednesday.
On top of that, there were two birds marching back and forth on my deck railing. It's not like the windows don't have curtains or anything so it's not like they think there's a way through. They are deliberately divebombing my window.

Okay, so I just went out to the dumpster to throw out a couple more massive bags of perfectly good shit, you know, totally American style, and I ran into a guy who was apparently ALSO clearing out his house of all the junk toys he had accumulated from the 80s.  Weird.

Anyway, so I open up the thing, and right there staring back at me is a Wrinkles the Dog doll.  Look it up yourself, I can't link from this phone.

Now that's got me a little shaken up.  I mean I had come to terms with the fact that I was throwing out most of my childhood but I wasn't ready to come face to face with somebody ELSE who was throwing out my childhood.

I think I just need to calm down, take a deep breath, and play some Duke Nukem ForeFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Cox left me a recorded message to the effect of "Thanks for being a customer!  As a present, we're going to email you some spam."

Uh... thanks, I guess?  I'll keep an eye out for it?

The other day at work I saw a woman with a lepoard print purse and a matching sleeve tattoo.

That is either the worst reason to get a tattoo or the best purchase ever.

That reminds me of the other day. I passed a store with some really trashy leopard-print stuff in the window (isn't ALL leopard-print stuff trashy by definition?) and found myself wondering if anyone had ever had their hair shaved into a leopard-print pattern.

Does shaved down and dyed leopard print count? Because if so I personally know two people who have. Five if you count snow leopard.

Last night my dad's jeep got broken into. All he had in there were a handful of coins, CDs, and work papers. They stole exactly 39 cents and left a note saying his taste in music was bad.
Apparently they didn't see his CCR box set.

Or they're just barbarians.

At any rate, your, uh... you know seems to run in the family. This is all starting to make a bit more sense.

My "you know" meaning... my fantastic taste in music? Sadly no. My mother only listens to Aerosmith and nothing but Aerosmith and brother only listens to hardcore gangsta rap.

Today at work I saw a man with a neckbeard. I don't mean neckbeard in the common vernacular, either. I mean he had a patch about two inches in diameter near the base of his neck with about a foot of wavy greyish hair growing out of it.

It kind of freaked me out.

Are you sure he didn't have a ponytail or rattail or something coming from back/side of his head and it was resting on his shoulder?
If such a man exists like your picture, I'm not sure I could go on living.

No. I got a good look at it from all angles. It even shifted when he moved his head.
