Sourcemod seems to be working out so far, but we still need to make some more modifications to it. Adding back mapvote capabilities is clearly one priority, but if anyone else has input, we'd appreciate it.

Just make sure that it doesn't take three people to change a map when there's only one person on the server.

rtv appears to scale properly on Shadow Moses now. One person is capable of rocking the vote by themselves, and the mapcycle itself is now randomized among all of the stock maps except 2fort, hydro, and the arena maps. Those should still be accessible through mapvotes, though, as well as admin fiat.

After trying to get Art of War Central to actually fix the server issues I instead moved to gameservers.com. They have a nice deal going on now where it's only $17/month for 24 slots public. The new server is 68.232.163.72:27015.

ctf_1fort alpha 2, now with textures!. I already talked to Joxam about getting it added to Shadow Moses, but the creator encourages its spread amongst people who are understandings of its unfinished state. Report any comments to me and I'll forward them to him. He says future updates will probably be more frequent.

So I found this server that had this map in rotation. After I got unconfused (because the map is CONFUSING at first) it turned into an awesome free-for-all where a single good player could actually make the difference between 'we suck!' and 'we win!'. I loved it and want to suggest that we add it to the rotation.

I wonder if it would be possible to put arena maps back in the standard rotation, in case there's too few people for a proper map and no admins around to put it in arena mode.

they were removed because every time one was loaded the server locked in arena mode.

Why is there a separate mode for arena anyway? Can't they just be treated like ordinary maps?
