So now it's only 2 years off?  Good job.

Anyway, it's still a dumb comic for many other reasons.

Oil Bomb.  Low or no-damage Fire attack that weakens a target's Water-type moves and makes water-type pokemon either neutrally susceptible to fire or super-effective.  Or, not even that, Oil Bomb guarantees a Burn status effect on the next fire-type attack.
What I hate about the "Sport" attacks is that they never give them to anything that would even remotely benefit them. The only counterexample I can think of it keeping Water Sport as a holdover from Surskit so that Masquerain can defend itself against fire attacks, but who even uses Masquerain?

Sport attacks were designed solely to make 2v2 battles something more than two 1v1 battles kind of stitched together.

My favourite 2v2 move is to have Vaporeon and Alakazam in front. Vaporeon uses Surf, which hits everyone including Alakazam. Alakazam is faster, however, and uses Role Play on Vaporeon to copy its Water Absorb property (water heals instead of damages you).

"If examined through the use of a cheating device, Joey's Rattata really is in the top percent of Rattata, possessing an Adamant nature as well an IV spread of 30 31 29 31 26 30."

I talked to a guy on the internet who said this is not true.

Winner's path is old news, yo.

Nice on the hoothoot.  They aren't the worst shiny you could find, that's for sure.

Not including the ridiculous ones I found on global, I have a Flygon, Lotad, Starly, Steelix, and Mantyke.

If I had a shiny geodude, this is where I would say "I got a rock." And post a picture of Charlie Brown.

Water Otter is the best starter, continuing a strong, proud tradition of water starters being both the best and the classiest.

If you disagree, you're wrong and I'll fight you.

You know, with Pokemon.

I could do that, but I'm just so lazy.  I'll just stare at my 8 shiny geodude instead.  And my like, 150 other shinies.

It's a shame Nintendo refuses to do an MMO Pokemon game, and shuts down fan made projects that attempt it.

There's such massive potential for it all. Hell, you wouldn't even really need to change a whole lot of mechanics in the game itself. Or even the graphics.
