Past the update weekend though that only helps if the Sniper doesn't just keep doing what he's already doing with the default rifle.

Yeah, there better be a substantial bonus for making you push a 125 HP default-speed stickman into the thick of battle.

Also, I can't wait for the comedy of someone with arrows stuck in sensitive locations.

EDIT: I just realized how brilliant this was, because there'll never be a scope for this.

Oh hell yeah, I sure hope this aims and fires like the syringe gun/blutsauger.

Also, I wonder how close the victim has to be to a wall for the 'pin' thing to work?

OH!

Bonus points if the arrows make a "BUHDUNUNUNUNUNNNNnnnnnnn" noise when they pin someone to a wall.

I don't know, this doesn't seem to stun. I would assume that the victim can always fire back (or continue firing) if pinned.

Eh, the page is long on funny but short of actual details & specs. I guess we'll see!

It sounds more like it'll pin people to walls once they die and rag doll, but in practical use it's a no-scope, on the go front line support weapon.

The arrows lodge into targets, leaving the possibility of a debuff ripe and open.

Actually the viability of noscope assault-Sniper does give the weapon something of a balancing advantage.

I was trying to decide whether I'd spend Sniper Hell Week playing as a Spy or a Sniper, and this is making the decision a bit easier.
