This is why I still occasionally buy hard copy pornography.

Yeah yeah, I know, somebody's gonna read that and say "I thought you said hard core pornography!" and post a picture of Hard Man. Or just have the word 'hard' in a quote box.

Well, eat it, you future clownshoes.

You win the thread.  :cake:

Even Arizona's getting in on the act.  They're calling this the worst winter storm we've had in 17 years; it's been raining buckets in my neck of the woods, with wind strong enough to slam me in a car door, and up north, where it's actually cold enough to snow, they're shutting down businesses, roads, whatever they can.  Tornado warnings, governor declaring a state of emergency...it's pretty wild.

I've had to cancel my plans to visit my mom this weekend for her birthday.  On the plus side, I won't have to do all that driving.

I happened to catch the weather segment on the local news last night.

The had a shot of the Bookman's right off NAU campus with its roof collapsed.

I used to live a five-minute walk from there.

Yesterday it was 70 degrees and I just woke up from a 4 hour nap and Norman is covered in snow.

The sweedish have a saying:  There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad preparation.

It's been consistently well below the freezing point here, and I expect it to chill some more as time goes on.

I also know that in some places those little smart cars have little iddy biddy smart snow tires.

I don't own any long sleeved shirts.  I haven't left my apartment since it started snowing Thursday morning.

Well, the ice on the roads is probably the most important part. Prairie winds + tiny car + icy roads + a state full of people who don't know how to drive on ice = can't end well.

Hey MCE, what is that a picture of? Is that a picture of my car every morning for the months of December - February for the last 6 years of my life?

Bwahahaha, silly southern state American pigdogs!
