It was down to 91 today.  That was pretty cool.

Once the sun started going down, I even went outside.

It's late April. You know what that means?

If you said "snow," you'd be wrong. Except you're right.

ATTN: NATURE: EVERY TIME IT SNOWS FROM TODAY UNTIL NEXT WINTER I WILL DESTROY ONE TREE.  SHAPE UP.

Was there a hurricane or something? Because the wind around here is clocking in at 65kph, with 90kph gusts.

Yeah, it's the same here.

Also that rainstorm yesterday afternoon was pretty nuts. I've never seen a whiteout made of non-frozen water before.

Ha! You should have tried commuting in it. I was stuck in a bus shelter when it hit.

My living room is covered in a fine film of dust and every time I take a step on my front lawn it generates a little cloud.

It reminds me of playing Pig-Pen in my high school's production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

I think I might take your heat over ours (given the choice). Even though I hate hate hate the heat, I suspect Tempe is rarely as swampy-soupy as it usually gets here.

I dunno... Buge? Other Ontarians? What say you?

Well, it was pretty darn hot today. And it was windy too, if you can believe that. I was on my bike, and the wind was blowing in all the wrong directions, which wouldn't have been so bad, except 1. it made it more difficult to get where I was going, and 2. once I stopped moving, I started to sweat even more.

So yeah, thumbs down to humidity. Just because it means I can have cheap local fruit doesn't mean I can't complain about it.

See the thing about dry heat is that you won't be as uncomfortable as you are in humidity until a few minutes later when you fall over and vomit from heat stroke, for days.

Think about that next time you're upset that your clothes are a little clingy.

Guys, when it's under 100 degrees in July here, that means it's NOT dry.

There's a difference between clingy clothes and feeling like the entire city's stuffed up someone's rectum (well, okay Toronto feels like that all the time ahyukyukyuk).

And then you just vomit and fall over from dehydration and a general oxygen shortage instead.

It was so humid here that I had trouble breathing outside this afternoon.

I spent a couple weeks in Atlanta in the middle of summer a while back. Never again will I go to any place where "humid weather" has even the slightest chance of occurring.

Dry heat forever.
