Yeah, I hate those times when you're 'dueling' and die, only to see that your opponent's health was barely even nicked.

When my sniper rifle magically decides to not be able to hit a heavy walking through a field, so i end up firing twenty rounds at him, when other times i can hit a scout in the head while he's in the middle of a jump.

Also, if we're allowed to talk about favourite things in here, it's when i see some other sniper peek out from behind a door or some glass, and then quickly strafes out to try and beat me in a sniper duel. :D It's gold!

People spamming "MEDIC" and jumping infront of me with full health, while I'm healing someone that's burning/20% HP that isn't a scout.

Sometimes I'm that jerk, but only because my medic call key is next to my reload key and I am horribly uncoordinated (MASH BUTTON).

I'm also that uncoordinated about buttons and call for medic when I don't mean to.  Like, yesterday, Det was healing me and I accidentally called for medic, which is just silly and accidental.

Yeah, I mean, I usually don't spam-repeat the request. If you see me go by with full health, no enemies nearby, and I only say it once, that's probably an accident.

In general I try be conservative with my medic calls, really. Especially as engineer. It helps not to call wolf, or to distract the medic from people who are better heal/uber targets.

I actually appreciate any call for medic because I never feel beholden to anyone for any reason as a Medic and if you actually need help the cross helps me find you and I don't mind miscalls. I think they updated the cross to display health ratio and on fire/not on fire! Calling Wolf does not seem like it is that big an issue.

also uh I guess I should respond to Kazz?

Yes I am a coward who has to win at all times to finish orgasming.

But

I am also a paranoid with brain cancer who is absolutely infuriated by strings of misfortune and the perception that I have been on the understaffed losing team for 3 out of 4 rounds will murder my mood.

I think at this point I will probably just spectate when angry

and

Ask Shadow Moses what team I should be on when I am unsure

Otherwise, sorry? And don't tell me to play Personal Glory Fortress 2: I am ALWAYS playing Personal Glory Fortress 2 with my natural need to help others clicking in where appropriate. I love to top off people between hunting sessions as Battle Medic or to Power-Upgrade a Teleporter at my spawn before I switch back to my intended class. I am a terrible Demo but I know when a Sentry has to go down to advance.

My Brain Cancer also makes me irrationally upset if my team is hopelessly losing. I think this is a symptom of holding even a minor leadership position in WoW: it drives me insane to put in 110% and lose out to factors outside my control.

Spectating when we're already losing so we have further disadvantage is not very friendly, sir.

If the disadvantage is two or more it will auto-balance, at which point your argument is that Doom as a player is worth a value greater than X, where X is any player in the world at random. Otherwise, it's even?

If the disadvantage by my absence drops to being the team understaffed by one, then perhaps you can feel sympathy for how I feel to be on that team the majority of the time? Or as everyone is telling me to shut up about it, there isn't any problem at all!  :imagination:

Like I get that I'm a jerk, I just feel like trying to answer why I'm a jerk. It's frustrating on top of frustrating to not enjoy a game as "pure" as TF2 because I'm bugged by my teammates. My mind is clouded.

I don't get TF2 frustrated.  I set things on fire.  And it's fun :3

Yeah, ideally I don't get TF2 frustrated, I run around trying to melee people.

I like the idea of just spectating when enraged and then letting you guys tell me what to do on Moses. That worked ok on Gold Rush.

Every once in a while it bugs me when people run around and do silly shit when their team is losing. (Even if it's the other team.) No wonder you're behind! Are you here to play, or what?

Of course, whether that bugs me depends entirely on my own mood.

silly, accidental, and counts towards the "heal people asking for medic" achievement.

Yeah, I mean, I'm not Mr. BRASS BALLS. If I need a medic I call for one.

I have an interesting question though: Can you see enemy team medic calls? Because for the life of me, I can't recall ever seeing one, but it seems odd that you wouldn't.

You can hear the vocals but you can't see any crosses or anything.

Spy Disguises reverse the whole affair though. They also seem to let you check people's health on the enemy team, which is a god-send for Magnum Rogues and the new breed of Ambassador Assassins.

I usually get caught against a fucking wall

THIS. THIS RIGHT HERE.

Would be nice to play on a map not made entirely of rubber cement (read: crates).

Like, yesterday, Det was healing me and I accidentally called for medic, which is just silly and accidental.

It's a way to keep them latched onto you for farm murdering.

Tag my ass.

Tag it.

I've been known to obstruct a snoipah's line of sight if they're grouped with another, neither angled at the frontline.

Chining in with same.

I always thought that was just my bad play and that it didn't happen to other people.

I also hate people who bitch about teleporters not being up, when a spy is constantly harassing the engineer. Give me a pyro buddy or fuck off.  :wakka:

Oh god... I don't know how I feel about this. As an engie I have a giant target on my head. On the other hand it can be hard to play spy well and bad spies are PAINFULLY OBVIOUS.

I suppose I'll just be going with my original plan: if I face too many good spies, I'll just play more pyro.
