Made my lentil ragout last night. Forgot how much I liked it. Hell, with this batch it's one of my favorite things to eat that I make myself.

... well, shit, now I really want to try that.  I bet it tastes like suffering and despair.

RRCherryPie has a ton of videos of their collection of bizarre toy kitchen stuff. Some of it is really incredible, like the tiny kitchen range with a tiny frying pan that is a fully functioning stovetop and oven.

Fresh scallops lightly sauteed in pineapple mango salsa.  :cake:

Or as I prefer to call it, ghetto ceviche.

We made corndogs out of jalapeno cheese sausages last night. If these things freeze well, I am never buying a pre-packaged frozen corndog ever again.

I just made some of this guacamole, and it's so good. It's like  :jizz:, only in my mouth!

Speaking of Darryl, tonight he was like "HEYGUYSLET'SRIDEBIKESYOUWANTDINNER?I'MCOMINGOVERANDI'MGONNAMAKEYOUDINNEROK?OK!"

And then we had a week's supply of free beef stew.

Making beef stew or basically any kind of stew, gumbo or chili always feels like a waste of time if I don't make at least enough for 16 servings.

I think that's why stockpots only come in big and feed army.

Yeah this is my approach.  We have a huge crab pot, I'm not sure how much it holds but it's got to be four or five gallons, and when I make soup or stew or chili I usually just keep adding ingredients until it's about full.
