A while ago I realised you can make a Team Fortress edition of Munchkin, and did some initial planning: the proportions of card types, and how Team Fortress concepts translate to Munchkin. It's simple and self-contained enough for a gang of forum louts to make a playable game from their own invented cards.

Problem is that there's no existing way to play a custom Munchkin online. You'd need to print out your own cards and play in person.

No way that would get printed. It's strictly worse than Siege-Gang Commander and green doesn't do direct damage. Not cheaply, anyway.

Tossing around poison ideas for the inevitable poison block the other day. "Poison as a resource" seems obvious, but it needs a careful touch to be balanced. I came up with these as kind of a compromise and liked 'em enough to want to remember. The latter card probably deserves an actual cycle.

Psychoactive Poison - 2B
Enchantment
When Psychoactive Poison enters the battlefield, target player gains three poison counters.
3, discard a card: target player loses a poison counter. Any player may activate this ability as a sorcery.

Delirious Dirge - 3BB
Sorcery
You may pay 3 less to cast Delirious Dirge if you have two or more poison counters. If you do, lose two poison counters.
Target player discards two cards at random.

Back in January of last year, Rosewater said: "poison fans be patient, I actually know which block is going to have poison as a substantial feature[.]" Based on the timing, it's either going to be Zendikar block, or next fall's block.
