A pity.  Because I desperately want more gorgeous, high-res 2D games.

B-b-but Braid's kinda decent r-r-r-right?

I'm telling you, dude: get Braid. If only for the music. And the art. And the puzzles.

They're not that hard. I beat the game the day after I bought it.

World 4 still sucks though. Fuck you, fickle key.

As long as it wasn't as amazingly pretentious as Braid didn't have platform obscurity clouds like that, it'd be cool.

That's indecent.

So, got Braid on PC today; turns out it came out two days ago. Also finished it today, 100% and all. (Except for the speed run achievement; fuck that noise.) Apparently it's a five hour game.

Part of me wants to complain about the length/price ratio, but it's pretty enough, it sounds good enough, and most importantly it made me feel clever enough. So yeah, no regrets. I think. Yeah.

It has the exact same length/price ratio as an HL2 Episode, or just about anything from Telltale Games.

...of course I refuse to buy any of those outside of bundles for that very reason, but just saying.
