I'm predicting a Soldier solo update, and a possible Demo/Engi double update for the remainder since teams full of Engineers or stickies would be painful.  Of course, once they finish the class updates, they'll start working on the second update for the Medic.

round and round we go.

It'd be nice if they released an update to the single player campaign.

You mean it'd be nice if they made a co-op campaign mode.  As Single player goes against the point of the game.  And they could charge for it and then have an excuse to keep updating TF2 while still squeezing money out of us.

Did you not play through the entire story mode? I don't see how Co-Op would work on parts like when
Red Medic has to brave BOTH Blu Soldier AND Blu Demo's projectile spam to save Red Sniper.
Shit was epic.
Ok, maybe the nearly-dead Sniper could help by shooting rockets out of the air, but that's a stretch!
my gut tells me that the cooldown will make face to face fights with the ambassador equipped somewhat of a bad idea.

for SURPRISE attacks it will probably be better

It's a nice gun, I'll give you that. But the engraving gives you no tactical advantage whatsoever, unless you were planning to auction it off as a collector's item.

my gut tells me that the cooldown will make face to face fights like the kind you will be having against me, a pyro, who likes to light things on fire, which is hot and bad and used face to face, with the ambassador equipped somewhat of a bad idea.

for SURPRISE attacks it will probably be better

oh just FUCKING SAY IT

i wasn't implying that at all, i was saying that the delay is likely to get you killed in a fight with any other class, including a spy with the default.

uh what I am reading is that it is a revolver with pinpoint accuracy but a cooldown between shots

how is that better for surprising people

It's obviously inferior for anything close range, and most likely even medium range

I wonder what the damage falloff will be like, if anything

Honestly I'm having a hard time understanding this in terms of usefulness. Even assuming zero damage falloff, if you're going to snipe, play sniper. Spies need to get their hands dirty.

I'm sure it will have its uses but without more information I am leaning toward this being the spy's version of the flaregun

I guess it might be better for the backpedaling while firing thing if you can keep your enemy at medium range, not sure

it is HEAVILY implied that it does more damage.

and my reasoning for it being better to surprise people with it is quite simple, THEY WONT BE ACTIVELY TRYING TO AVOID GETTING HIT, depending on the cooldown the difference between the spy dying or not could come down to if that first shot missed or not

spies with Sasha, you heard it here first folks

But yeah, if it does more damage it might be better for two shotting 125 classes at close range

as usual theoryfort is fun but ultimately more information is needed before definitive judgements can be made

Flailing spazzes like myself appreciate the option to make that one Revolver shot really count.

And at this point we all really just assume that Saturn posts while wearing his (cheap, pathetic) hand-made pyro costume.
