Maybe if I were better at games when I pressed up and left I would move up and left, but as I am a lesser man and terrible gamer I will just take solace in blaming the game.

The lack of diagonal movement in Z1 is half of why it worked.

Are you sure your controls aren't broken? I faintly recalled having to throw my sword diagonally, and well, sup youtube.

I've been playing PSP all day. What's "diagonal"? :;_;:

...you can even attack diagonally, which you can't ever do in Zelda.  I think you've got brain problems, Rico.

(It may also be the key buffer limit if you're trying to emulate it without a gamepad.)

Warning: Incoming replies.  Warning: Incoming replies.

...okay now I feel like a jerk for saying you have brain problems.  Sorry, Rico.

You'll always be super-special to me!

I apologize for not only my terribleness at games but my horrible brain diseases for having a problem I already said I may have been having.

Crusader of Centy is better than the entire Zelda series.

I came to say Crusader of Centy, it's a fun Zelda-esque game, but saying it's better than Zelda is worse than denying the Holocaust.

edit (after watching the video): The grass, the water, the bees, the holes, the fences, the chickens, the rocky hills... Crusader of Centy has no shame being a Zelda Knock-off.

i dunno when the moral of your story is that racial segregation is a good thing then i find it hard to give a shit how good your gameplay is (hint: not terribly).

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

Terranigma is far and away one of the best and most memorable games I've ever played.

Genesis, more like.. MEGADRIVE
I can't really tell if games are obscure or not, but i really liked King of the Monsters, even though i sucked at it, i just really loved the concept and fighting over the big city and all.
But the other games i liked, The Strike games, Road Rash, Streets of Rage 2, micro machines turbo challenge, these games aren't really all that obscure. Road Rash is my favourite megadrive game, though, it's so good. :D

OH GOD I JUST FINISHED BRAID DO YOU HAVE TO BE DOING SHIT BACKWARDS RIGHT NOW.

King of the Monsters

Port from Neo*Geo if we're talking about the same thing.  'sallgood.

Quote
Road Rash

Hell yes.  While not really that obscure per se, it's not talked about nearly enough.

Ahh, it'd be nice to see a remake of King of the monsters, And i'd like to see a remake of road rash, i haven't played any of the ones that aren't on megadrive, but i can't see it coming out too well, knowing EA, it'd have that stupid music thing of theirs, which would really suck compared to rob hubbard's awesome music, and they'd overcomplicate stuff.
