Is it gonna rip off WoW enough to be playable or are we looking at another console-retarded control scheme

They said it's going to be PS3 exclusive. Despite the fact that the PS3 has a bunch of USB ports, I think they'll go with the console scheme.

Except for that one bonus level in Yoshi's Island, where you were auto-scrolling over lava while riding the dog and dodging bats. That is still not forgiven. The rest, though....

Bayonetta looks like fun.

Huh. It almost makes me want to buy a next gen system. Was she using those little guns on her heels or what? I couldn't tell.

Yeah. And her catsuit is actually her hair, and it strips itself off so that she can use it as a weapon.

From the guy that brought you Viewtiful Joe and God Hand.

Has Capcom shown off all of their stuff yet?  I have this foolish, irrational hope that one of their "mystery games" will be Mega Man Legends 3.

Source on them removing the Genie? Because I heard licensing issues caused the removal, which leaves only Karas & the Gatchaman guys eligible.

To quote IGN:

Quote
"There's a tendency among the press to attribute the creation of a game to a single person," says Warren Spector, creator of Thief and Deus Ex.

Diablo is a great example of stuff like this.  After Blizzard North broke up there was something like fifty different "creators of Diablo II" running around, and half of them were forming their own company.  Flagship really liked to toot its own horn about being the "real" Diablo people, despite the fact that a whole bunch of the same crowd went over to main Blizzard and about as many others scattered to form other (now failed) companies.

Really, there's so much that goes into games that you'd think we'd realize by now it's silly to assume something will be great just because of the involvement of one or two people.

speaking of which is there any info on the Kojima and Suda 51 joint project at E3 omg omg omg it's gonna be so awesome

Nintendo is giving me a boner. Literally. My dick is so hard if has turned into a bone, made of DIAMOND.

Mario Galaxy: Looks like more of the same... which is great.

New Mario Bros Wii: I hope it's a solid 1 player game too. I don't expect it to be better than SMB3 or SMW, but the DS game was good.

Metroid Other M: Other mother? What? Short haired Samus? Remember me? Uh, no... Team Ninja? This is a very welcome WTF. Doesn't look as polished as the Prime series but it looks pretty awesome.

Golden Sun DS: Good Job Nintendo. :)

All Nintendo has to do now is make Wind Wanker 2 for the Wii and/or Pilotwings Wii and/or F-ZEro Wii and/or Mario Kart Wii 2 and/or Zelda2-2 and I will stop having to pretend I love them because I will actually love them.

People bitch that Nintendo just keeps making the same games over and over, but that's SHIT. I WANT Nintendo to make a Zelda and a Mario, that's why I like Nintendo. Not to mention there's more inovation in one level of Super Mario Galaxy than in most full AAA games. SO shut up Nintendo haters, SHUT UP!!!!

Golden Sun DS?

All is forgiven, Nintendo.

Except for that one bonus level in Yoshi's Island, where you were auto-scrolling over lava while riding the dog and dodging bats. That is still not forgiven. The rest, though....

Poochie is not stupid. You underestimate Poochie, you lose. Maybe next time if you're not so quickly to judge Poochie, you might beat the level without so much annoyance. Trust Poochie.

But they were promising INNOVATION this year.  :whoops:

I suppose at least they announced things other than the things they announced last E3.

Am I really the first person to think that E3 would be better off all-around if it was just held every two years instead?

Are you really surprised by that? Some people think that games like Doom and Diablo are about devil worship, ignoring the fact that you kill the shit out of hell in them.

Man, those were the days.  "Levels in Doom II are set in a concentration camp where you help Nazis kill children!"  :8D:

Microsoft is going to offer full XBox360 titles via Digital Distribution. Makes sense, seeing as how you can now fully install your games onto your Xbox directly from the disk.
