They translated Latin in the first volume, then realized that was a dumb idea and put it instead in the series' copious translation notes.

I got bored of Negima about volume 16 or so. It doesn't grab me the way Love Hina did. Keitaro had goals you could relate to, and actually worked toward his goals. He had somewhat normal romantic interests. There was a story beyond gratituous pantyshots and nudity.

Negi arguably has a goal to find his father, but he never actually goes out looking for him. His actual goal is to teach English without being set upon by his students or accidentally blowing their clothes off, and he fails at both miserably. At least half the class have a one-sided crush on Negi, but he's not interested. A tournament breaks out, and the series goes from "pantyshots" to "pantyshots, gratituous cosplay and fighting."

Negi's goals change too. In one of the later volumes, the goal is to
heal the gaping hole in his stomach he got from setting foot in the magical world
Description: like anime, with even less movement.

Can someone explain to me how the Blame! online shorts managed to get this the other way around? You've got the comic, where the near-absent plot is interrupted frequently by explosive gunfights and ultraviolence, and then there's the shorts which seem to consist mostly of "BLAH BLAH BLAH NETSPHERE BLAH BLAH BLAH."

I... uh. I decided to catch up on Air Gear. I'm on chapter 228.

Barack Obama switches bodies with a 14-year-old Japanese girl.

That's what happens in chapter 228.
