Picked up the Hardcover edition of Black jack 1. (Hardcover edition is ONLY available at diamond comics affiliates and includes an extra chapter, they will do this for the first 3 volumes only)

I  strongly recommend it

Only 1500 of volume one, and 1200 of volumes 2 & 3 are being printed? And they come along with extra stories not found in the soft cover editions?

That's 2x the  :MENDOZAAAAA: for me. Seriously, I've all but stopped buying DVDs since every damn store does their own promo thing, don't fucking start this shit with manga.

Speaking of which, I cut down on a lot of the series I collect. Right now, I just need Jojo 11 & 12, xxxHOLiC 12, Dragonball Big 2, and anything on Cromartie High School after Volume 10.

Thinking about taking a peek at the Phoenix Wright manga, though.

I thought it would be OK, I thought I'd just have a fun comic to read. But no. No! Now I'm getting pages like this:
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/306/06/. Which brings up a pet peeve of mine. People using a noun that's naturally a mass noun (izzat what they called?) to refer to a singular member of that group.

I'm so glad that I recognise none of these slang terms.

Hmmm....

> go porch
*You are on the porch. My it's nice out.
> look
*Your porch is of fine pine construction. Over the course of many years you have refined and improved your porch to perfection. There is hand-carved rocking chair on the porch which took you many years to complete. It has the smooth action of a finely-crafted peice of furniture now well broken-in. You look out at your lawn. The lawn is finely manicured and is a perfect shade of green. You see several fruit trees and some neighbouring chidren happily frolicking on the grass.
> sit chair
*I do not recognise that command.
> sit rocking chair
* You ease into the rocking chair and begin to gently set it in motion. It's very relaxing.
> pick up .22
* You pick up the .22 calibre rifle you keep on your porch in case of raccoons, coyotes, or other troublesome vermin.
> aim kids
* You draw a bead on the playing children
> holler

Hello, this is I_M's wife speaking.

I've got very little to add to this discussion other than this:

He just went into the crapper and closed the door. A minute later, he just started cackling loudly for no apparent reason. It's been awhile.

Wait, now he's flushing. Did he lay an egg? I wonder.

Anyway, as you were....uh, draw yiour own conclusions...

I am so confused now, you have no idea.

Not least of which because my original post was in the MMO etymology thread.

At least this is funny.

I might have liked the Foxy arc a lot more if people weren't being forced to swear "Royalty" to each other.
A little touchy-fealty about our translation quality?
