No way, I'm just made from dust.  Useless dust.  It's those women always stealing our ribs.  Delicious, succulent ribs.

I was always under the impression that Ubisoft printed their manuals on seal pelts.

I'd be more supportive of Ubisoft if they weren't still using the worst DRM system I have ever seen and stubbornly keep saying it's working.

I would not object to a code wheel coming with all my games if it meant I didn't have to deal with securom or checkdisk or connecting to the internet whenever I want to play my games.

It would de-legitimize websites like GameCopyWorld overnight.

Send away for a new one or print it out?

I'd prefer the inconvenience of a code wheel to having overzealous disk-checking software slowly destroying my DVD-ROM drive, or the privacy invasion that is "calling home every time you start your computer up".

A lot of modern DRM blacklists other software on your computer too, which gives me even more reason to not buy it - I don't like the idea of paying for a product that's going to disable every disc emulation program I have, half the ISOs I mount are for games I have already bought and paid for - I have about 500 PC games sitting in a cardboard box in the garage. It's too much of a pain in the ass.

The real solution I'd like to see is getting rid of DRM altogether, but I don't think that's going to happen, is it?

I'd kind of prefer having something I can flip to in the middle of a level to remind myself how to do something, as opposed to being forced to save, quit, start a new game, and run the tutorial level until it gets to the move I'm forgetting.

Manuals aren't supposed to teach you how to play the game.  They are reference material.

I'd be fine if they included a single page laminated reference card. Pref. one-sided so places like blockbuster could glue it to the box the game comes in when you rent it.

The Boulder mocks Chris Redfield's struggle with basic earthbending. He would go so far as to say...

That clip was complete 'schist.'

1up reports of a multiplayer 2D Hi-Def Castlevania

Playable characters are all from previous 2D Castlevanias, so I guess story won't be a major concern.

I'm really intrigued by this. The idea of a metroidvania that you play online with multiple people has been an idea we've tossed around on these boards for a long time so I'm interested to see if there's actually any merit to the idea.

I knew that after I sold my 360 there would finally be an exclusive that I liked.

Why does it have to be on 360, where they still live in the goddamn stone age and you have to pay to play online?

You call it the "stone age"; they call it the "big stacks of money every month age".
