Yeah it's pretty cool that they got Spider-Ham to do the narration.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Confirmed for PC Release

I was actually really worried it was going to be console only.

THAD EDIT: Fixed the link.  Links are hard.  All that Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V you have to do to add the name of the article just in case somehow somebody doesn't know what the fuck a 3180577 is...

Got Limbo off the 360 marketplace, it's a pretty sweet puzzle/platform type thing.  While I don't regret getting it, I'm not sure it's worth $15.

It is from my experience playing the tutorial level in online flash-demo form.  Unfortunately for most of you, the demo's in Japanese only.  Fun though.

As a side note on that, it felt like such an accomplishment to be able play a text-heavy game like that in Japanese and completely understand what was going on.  Sure, I missed a few little tidbits of information, but nothing that mattered/couldn't be figured out by context. ::D:

I like how one of the three unforgivable curses can be used to temporarily stun enemies.

I can't imagine the board meeting for that. Does Rowling have creative control at all, or would it only be the publisher of the book(people who don't care) who gets to approve everything?

Well, it's a cover shooter.  You need your standard shotgun, sniper rifle, machine gun setup in a cover shooter.  Cruciatus is the machine gun.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

I think I just blew a vein in my head. Evidence for this includes significant paralysis in my left side and the fact that the Cruciatus curse, which
Harry ever only uses against Belatrix in book 5 right after he watches her murder Sirius
is selectable from a god damned ring menu. Neville would be horrified.

Frocto edit: Spoilered, because holy fuck I don't care if the books are old, he was going for some sort of record for spoiling as many things as possible in one sentence.

So, what, I guess the Shotgun would be Avada Kedavra? Sectumsempra seems more like a Magnum to me.

Maybe the whole problem is having Harry Potter be a "regular" FPS when the theme is more suited to a stealth FPS at best but when it comes to game developing nobody ever backs up from a bad idea ever

biggus dickus.

I like how a Google Image Search of that name turns up equal parts Life of Brian and Dick Cheney.
