Just tried it, and it doesn't seem to work.  Unless it wants smoothstone.

Salvation on Zanzibarland was recently heavily damaged after a series of tests went horribly wrong. Anyone willing to risk floods of lava to try and loot what I had to leave behind is welcome to it.

I was trying to clean up and/or memorialize the Ft. Stacktus ruin on Bigshell last night, but I kept running into major lag of the "I broke or placed this block and the server refuses to recognize that fact so it keeps reappearing/vanishing after the fact" variety. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Yeah, what the hell happened here?  Did the test involve a mod that makes it rain TNT?  A big chunk of the area north of my first house got ripped to shit.  Whoever went to the trouble of rebuilding the track I have there and bricking up the exposed shafts of my mine under there, I appreciate it.

Would it be possible for me to get a copy of the Bigshell map for personal archival purposes, in case the horrific server decay (whether of "random bug" or "suicidal sabotage" origin) continues?

Zanzibar Land probably got moderately damaged during the brief period it became the Nether.

There have been some things, but I take responsibility for the damage to Dooly's property.

Sorry.

After messing with spawns the only way to get everything back on a regular spawnrate was to kill a whole bunch of zombies in one spot at once, and I just didn't realize how close I was to your stuff. If it had seemed like the damage was more extensive I would have told you but it looked like the track was the only thing hurt.

It's not a problem at all.  The only pain in the ass would have been rebuilding the minecart track.  Laying it in the first place took every scrap of iron I had.

Uh, I just went graverobbing here and found a bunch of TNT the hard way.  I think I may have caused the apocalypse.

EDIT UPON RECONNECTING: Oh god, the crater.  I am so sorry.

1.5 to have weather patterns and statistics with achievements.  Achievements seem to be a little more of a subtle tutorial.

Ugh I cannot for the life of me get the nether to work in multiplayer. It seems pretty impossible at the moment, even though there are mods that say that it works.

I also have no access to most of the fucking admin commands for no fucking reason at all. I think one of the big problems is that most of the plugins can't read their config files or make their own. I can make it for them, but it won't read them. I can't figure this shit out.

Edit:

I HAVE GIVEN MYSELF FULL ADMIN FUCK YOU.

Also: Even though I have set up a shitton of permissions for non-admins, they don't have jack shit. I am getting tired of this.

Almost everything is working now. Commands are not working in the nether, and if you die in the nether you end up in the nether. Luckily the spawn is slightly secured and Patito's portal is right next to the spawn. I will work on this tomorrow morning but if you really want to get your nether on in the next 12 hours be aware of the risks you take by going in there.

Dunno if you consider this a problem, but monsters seem to be not spawning now.

I secured my portal on the nether part and even made a tower that goes all the way up to reach the other two portals, since apparently mine is the only one that spawned all the way to the bottom of the map. So I guess that's a bit of a short cut for the moment.

Pfft. It's meant to convert people to the Jedi religion. As we've just seen, it's like the cave on Dagobah: there's nothing in there, except what you take with you.

Brent: I've been seeing monsters spawn. One of the problems is that since the newest patch, it seems that slimes are spawning for no fucking reason. Double that with the situation at spawn and they might be decreased. I can make it night and I see 2 skeletons spawn almost instantly.

Edit: Commands should be working inside the nether now. If you get stuck or you die you can teleport back home if you don't want the adventure of finding your way back.
