So, my memory was refreshed lately of a specific Half Life 2 multiplayer mod; Sourceforts!

Have you ever wished to play a shooter and build your own defenses? Thought CTF maps needed more legos? Ever wish that instead of guarding the flag, you could just build a gigantic one way wall around it? Put a gigantic maze as your only access back into your base from the frontlines, taking potshots at the fools that try to enter? Sneak to an enemy wall and laugh as you slowly take apart their hard work piece by piece?

Sourceforts may be for you!

With teamwork and :imagination: the possibilities are limitless!

This would be a *fantastic* game to get an entirely in house deal going.

Also, it's FREE! (assuming you have a Source Engine game purchased)

We tried this a long time ago. I can't actually remember what we thought about it though.

Good concept, but the mod was still in utero so to speak.  I can imagine it's improved since then and is worth at least another try.

I gave it a try. It seems to be as awkward as ever.
