Bush's Magical Money Tree
« on: April 21, 2008, 01:28:09 PM »

So, I filed online.  What exactly is the deal with the Stimulus Package?  I read this article and while I technically qualify, I am not terribly sure that I'm going to be getting silly funbux from the magic money tree.  Is it part of the return, or is it seperate?  Anyone have any idea?

If you filed legally, you will get at least $300.  It does not come as part of your return.  Expect a second check from the government in the second week of May.

In protest of this completely insipid idea I'm buying Chinese stock with the money.

To qualify, you need to have earned at least $3,000 in 2007.  They'll mail that shit to you depending on the last two digits of your SS number.

Also, cashing or depositing the check counts as casting your vote for John McCain in the november election.

It speaks so, so poorly of America that I actually stopped to consider the possibility of that happening.

As much as I'd like to say I'd take a moral stand to retain my vote for Obama, McCain would still win 98% of the popular vote.  So I might as well cash my damn check.

More than there used to be.

I still pick him over Hillary.  I don't care what anybody says about his "stance" on "issues," Hillary is a "vile whore."

Are you just trolling again or somethi

Also, cashing or depositing the check counts as casting your vote for John McCain in the November election.

...

...

... Times such as these demand that a true patriot hold the most important office in the world. John McCain is the clear choice.

It's not like the Economy is actually going to be boosted by this.  And you get away with so much more by committing tax fraud.

Catloaf! That was dumb! For two reasons!

The economy boost thing will invariably help the economy. Any time people spend money the economy is helped. The economy literally is business owners.

It just isn't going to help much, is all.

And the other thing... just get out of my country.

You know, I was thinking about this, and how exactly is using our tax money to help big businesses profit supposed to help the economy?

Bush is bribing us to love him again.

Of course, if he'd spent this money years ago to properly protect the troops, he might not have needed to.

I can't help but laugh when I read this.
It just isn't going to help much, is all.
Allowing for a high change of  a net loss.
And the other thing... just get out of my country.
I always thought this was God's country.  That's what a Bush voter told me anyway.
