Two people getting online at the same time without cooridinating beforehand is sort of hard to do. It may also be harder if I stopped playing for a month because no one else played for that long. I'm still at 34 because I haven't done any 4* quests, and I sure as hell never get to fight Jhen Mohran. I think in order to keep myself sane while helping one person at a time slowly get to HR17 I am going to start gunning.

I've been working hard to get up to hr 17 and work on the solo so when i'm not around with you guys I can at least farm something better then what I got. Also sorry Smiler again for that terrible rathian farming day. Not something I'm going to try and do again.

I don't want excuses I want ACTION Envy! I'm almost HR 17, I wish my brother liked this game so I could get him to play with us more but, instead what I'm doing is getting Kayumi up to snuff I hope! I don't like playing with NON-Friends so I don't do anything online without you guys. I wish I could stand douche bags but since I can't I SLOOOOWLY upgrade. Also, are there any times that you guys are generally available? Or could you guys all start coming to an IRC channel? O don't see Cthulhu-Chan in IRC.

If anyone wants to play, PM me either on the forums or in IRC. If I am around, I'll probably respond.

I got alloy gunner armor and a sweet gunbow. Alloy isn't that special, but I modded it out for critical eye +2, and with a +9 precision charm, my sights don't wander around when I aim. This will be great whenever I play online. I just need to learn how to use element and status bullets.

For element shots, fire acts like normal shot, and everything else acts like pierce.  Status shots only hit once, but it doesn't matter where you hit, just so long as you do.  If you REALLY want to be a status gunner, status attack up is recommended.  The amount of status damage required to afflict a monster ramps up rather swiftly with each successful application.  Felyne specialist also stacks with this.

http://www.qj.net/qjnet/psp/psp-homebrew-adhoctousb-plugin-for-xlink-kai-released.html

Some japanese dude is making a way to use Xlink through a usb connection. So far it gets good latency, but has some issues with dropping in games. I hope it improves so I can play Freedom Unite online somday.

Portable 3rd updates: No infrastructure multiplayer, and all of the tweaks the weapons got in Tri are being carried to this game. The weapons that were not in Tri are also getting some cool stuff. I couldn't find any source of the no infrastructure mp, but I wouldn't doubt it anyways.

Time for my monthly post in this thread! Apparently there might be infrastucture multiplayer for Portable 3rd after all.

Why did you do this you know now we aren't going to get it over here right? I mean they haven't ever announced that 3rd portable is coming over yet.

Dreams don't come true at all because this is a port of a PSP game, and that isn't even bringing up the fact that most of the stuff from in it is from MH3.

That it is a port of a PSP game is partially the point, Sony is doing a bunch of these PSP HD remasters.  MHP3 HD has rumblings of an international release, which makes sense since Sony apparently wants this HD remastering thing to become, well, a thing.

Don't forget that there were rumblings of a portable 3rd international release until it came out and nothing was ever heard again.

Duh.  It means they get to release one game three times.  PSP, PS3, and then PSP2.
