Resident Wolf (VvW5) Playing Thread
« on: August 28, 2009, 03:10:42 PM »

Here is a quick summary of significant new changes to the VvW game since last time. Veterans might want to look this over to be extra sure they're not going to be surprised by anything.

Anonymous accounts.

The game will move forward every 48 hours. Actions not taken within this time limit will be lost.

Vampires begin with an additional starting vampire, for a total of MV and two secondaries. When the MV dies, one of the secondaries becomes the new MV.

Werewolves no longer have a devil, instead having a Devil-Wolf, a werewolf with seer powers.

The Win Button and Repair Bot have been removed from the game.

Alucart has been removed from the game.

The Fortune Teller's Scry is now shown in public.

New Role: The Gravedigger. See Roles and Rules thread for details.

New Items: Fog Machine, Robber Mask, The Shovel. See Roles and Rules thread for details.

The Vampire Hunter now has to pay 4 gold to recharge his whip. Old: Whip recharges in two nights.

Weretiger Change/Clarification: If the Weretiger starts as a wolfpire, or is turned into one, and he is the only wolfpire left in the game, he wins. In essence, his Weretiger role overrides his wolfpire role, and thus triggers the innocent winning condition, and since he's still alive, this results in Weretiger victory. A minor and unlikely to occur change, but the Tiger has a tough enough job, so.

THE STORY CONTINUES

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kei9Wj92rpQ&feature=related

All is well in Raccoon City. What used to be a war zone has been miraculously transformed into something resembling San Francisco, but without as many horrible mutated creatures. And it's all thanks to the L-Virus.

The L-Virus was highly infectious and had no known cure. Within days, everyone was completely in love with everyone around them. Leon and Saddler, holding hands. Chris and black people. Plant 42 and weedwhackers. Nemesis and Jill. Barry and Sandwiches. You get the idea. Even old Wesker gave up the whole "take over the world" gig and devoted himself to rescuing lost puppies.

But peace never lasts, does it? Of course not. The L-Virus, though a great idea, began to mutate on its own. Soon, two new strains began to appear...

The V-Virus and the W-Virus. These new strains only affected a small portion of the population before the rogue mutations were contained, but the damage had been done. The V-Virus turned those affected into creatures of the night, dark souls bent on drinking the blood of the innocent. The W-Virus turned those unfortunate enough to be exposed into furries angry puppies.

Oh, and the news is reporting that a Weretiger escaped from the local zoo.

It is now Day 1. 24 Players are experiencing the Survival Horror.

Some players have had trouble registering a new account.

Don't use your same email that you used for your regular account. Also, don't use an aol email account as it seems to cause problems. HIDE YOUR EMAIL.

If you can't get the exact name, try again with another. It's not super important. You can change your display name to whatever, anyway.

Sorry for the bother. I know it's a bit of a pain but bear with it.

I am from Resident Evil Zero.  The three people who played Resident Evil Zero might recognize me as being from that particular game.

You all saw that.  I wasn't even looking at her the first time she yelled at me.

The next couple times I was just trying to decide where I wanted to shoot her.
