Intruders (2011) Trailer - HD Movie

From the dude who made 28 Weeks Later. It's nice to see a horror movie that actually tries to be creepy, instead of just going for LOL VIOLENCE~

Juan Carlos Fresnadillo directed 28 Weeks, but he didn't have anything to do with 28 Days - Days was Danny Boyle.

Looks pretty good, though!

It also has a fuckable butt.

I was wondering what yesterday's Trenches was about.

That's a large-sized panel from earlier in the series? Or are you making a clumsy joke.

Apparently that Meaning of Robots documentary is a short, the whole thing is 4 minutes long.

Sort of odd to have a trailer that's a full quarter of your film.

Great post by Evanier on how you can't ruin The Three Stooges.

Quote
There's a new movie coming out in which current actors portray the Three Stooges and these Stooge fans are worried it will sully the good name of Stooge. My attitude in response is like, "Really? You're concerned about the dignity of the Three Stooges?" I submit that if you think the Three Stooges ever had any dignity to lose, you don't "get" the Three Stooges.

I'd say that worst-case scenario here is pretty much what happened with The Flintstones: movie was such a fiasco that people still remember it, but it hasn't diminished the popularity of the original series.  (Likelier case: The Beverly Hillbillies, which instead of living in infamy like The Flintstones was just bland and forgettable.  Seriously, did you remember there was a 1990's movie adaptation of The Beverly Hillbillies before I brought it up?)

He also notes that the complete Three Stooges will be released in June for $90.

How could I forget? Ernest P. Worrell played Jed Clampett.

I knew there was a Battleship movie, but I never really thought much of it

then I saw this commercial for it

Battleship [Super Bowl XLVI Commercial 2012] 1080pHD

I fell down laughing and coughing from laughing so hard

ADDENDUM: I kind of hurt myself, actually.

A reboot of the remake of The Mummy?

I guess an almost familiar brand is better than no brand. (awaits gritty reboot of Lost in Space).

I know it's a stretch to call the 2000 film a remake but still.

Does that even have a continuity to reboot?

At some point you've got to admit that sometimes it's okay to make a movie with the exact same premise as an older movie, and that giving it the same title as well is a reasonable thing to do.

I'm not against a new pulpy adventure film called "The Mummy".

But it feels like the last movie came out yesterday...which was 4 years ago.

actually I just remembered that Batman Begins was green-lit around 5 years after Batman & Robin, so yeah reboot away Hollywood when my memory fades I'll be like "whoa that theater is showing The Silence of The Lambs how retro" and then I'll watch it and go "I don't remember that scene where lector's mouth turns to CGI and eats CGI corpses".
