Quote from: Joblo
Notice that Chun has abandoned her traditional dual-bun hairstyle and her blue frock with spike bracelets, and has instead gone for a more demure, peasant girl look. What do you guys think?

This seems like a pretty retarded blog to me. I mean, he has one picture of the main character and because she has dirt on her face he says that she won't be wearing anything resembling her trademark outfit and that she looks like a peasant girl.

You know, cause no one ever has a dirty face at any point in an action movie, and we were all expecting Chun-li to walk around with her spiked bracelets on at all times throughout the entire movie, and all peasant girls wear western-style collared shirts and gold necklaces. What a retard.

Actually what she is wearing in that picture, the 5 millimeters that we can see of it, actually sort of looks like something she wore in the old cartoon movie thing. You know, when she shoots that fireball after her shirt gets torn off and she's in her bra.

I go out of my way to make people feel bad for media self-immersion.

D:

I laugh loudly on cue during movies. Call me simple minded if you feel it necessary/it makes you feel smart.

Other people usually start to join in, seeing that nobody's calling me on it. I have a skill for getting others to let down their hair. Some movies I've been to we all started laughing so much people cried.

Just making sure you still hate me.

Max Payne (Warning: Slowtaku)

Isn't this kind of overdue?

For a pretty generic Sin City-inspired movie port?

Yeah. Apparently.

It looks incredibly deadpan and over-the-top.

In other words, exactly what it should be.

I suppose the process of making takes, stopping, and getting another cut over and over to get the scene simulates rapid quicksave abuse, too.

Can something be ruined FOREVER if it was already in a ruined state for the latter half of its existence?

We may find out soon enough.

But perhaps...

...too soon.

As bad as that looks, I think it's safe to say that everyone here will have to see it anyway on principle alone.

Yes, and this is the unfortunate part.  We should do an Outer Heaven marathon when this gets pirated for the old crappy HK ripoff dragonball movie, Sailor and the Seven Balls, and this.

Is there any movie more irrelevant than the new X-Files movie? Could any human actually be excited for it? The series has been off the air coming on ten years, and the last movie, released when the series was at it's absolute height as cultural icon, was a colossal failure. Not only that, but the promotion has been terrible (I didn't even know it was coming out until a couple weeks ago), and it's coming out right in the middle of the strongest movie summer in probably a decade. What a pointless endeavor.
