Yeah, there seriously hasn't been a summer like this in a long while. Actually, I think the last summer that had nearly this many movies that I wanted to see (and actually enjoyed) was 2003: Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Caribbean, X-Men 2, Hulk (shut up, I liked it)... and that's only four off the top of my head. This summer, there are seven movies that I HAVE to see... well, if you include Iron Man, which I've already seen, and the other two movies coming out this month. Hell, there are even a few other movies that don't come anywhere near my main list but I wouldn't mind seeing... but considering the cash I'll be spending on the "important" ones, I think I'll wait until they're on DVD.
Switching gears a little bit... does anyone else agree that the latest WALL-E trailer gives away too much? I was anxious to see the movie just based on the teasers, but the full trailer is so chock-full of stuff that I wish I could have just been exposed to during my actual viewing of the movie. But I suppose complaining about spoileriffic trailers is old hat by now.
